Anointing and Joy - Apostolic Proclamation for 2006
Dr. Roberto Miranda(Audio: Spanish)
SUMMARY:
The speaker is sharing a message from the Book of Joel, emphasizing that God has good purposes for the church and wants to raise it up in the city. The passage speaks of God doing great things and restoring what has been lost. The speaker leads the congregation in a time of spiritual warfare and asks for God's anointing to fill the people. The main message is that God wants His people to be a Pentecostal people, filled with the Holy Spirit and moving in the gifts of the Spirit. The two key elements that God wants to make central in the believer's life are wine and oil, which represent God's anointing and provision.
The speaker talks about two elements that God wants to make central in our lives: oil and wine. These two elements defeat the devil and allow us to live a victorious life in Christ. The speaker believes that God wants us to move into the supernatural realm and experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing is a spiritual fuel that enables us to understand spiritual things and live an effective life. The speaker encourages us to ask God to pour out spiritual understanding on our lives and to baptize us with His Spirit. The anointing seals us to the Kingdom of God and keeps us tied to Him even in trials and difficulties.
The article encourages readers to seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit in order to live a powerful Christian life and overcome the challenges of the world. The author emphasizes that living in the anointing requires a life of dedication and surrender to the Lord, and that it is not a normal or comfortable way of living. However, the anointing brings victory, miracles, and effectiveness in serving the Lord. The author urges readers to pray for the anointing and pay the price for it, and to raise up churches and families that are filled with the anointing of God.
The anointing of God leads to the joy of the Lord, which is a weapon of spiritual warfare for believers. Many Christians lack the joy of the Lord because they serve God in the flesh, without the power of the Holy Spirit. Cultivating the joy of the Lord requires a program of continuous search and cultivation. When Christians exemplify a joyful and victorious life, they become contagious and attract others to Christ. By cultivating the joy of the Lord, believers can defeat the powers of the devil without having to attack him directly.
Instead of constantly attacking Satan, focus on cultivating joy and the anointing of God in your life. This will generate God's power and defeat evil without you having to fight. Come forward and pray for the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Cry out to God and ask for His anointing. Dr. Roberto Miranda preached this message on December 31, 2005 at León de Judá Congregation.Turn with me to the Book of Joel. I want to share with you some thoughts that God has placed in my heart over the last few weeks and I want to plant this in your spirit as a seed of faith and trust in the Lord.
I believe that God has this word for us as a church, as God's people. At the beginning of this year, 2006, we see that God has good purposes for us, that God wants to raise up this town and make it more effective every day in the midst of this city. God wants to fulfill what He has said that we are salt of the earth, we are light of the world, we are an active presence. We are not in the city simply to decorate or to be one more element, but the word of the Lord says that we are going to be the head of the nations, we are going to be the heads of the cities where we are. He says that our descendants are going to build the fallen walls, they are going to raise the ruins that have remained for many years and that is the word that God has for the Lion of Judah congregation tonight and this year and God wants to strengthen your life and that you be part of that miracle that He wants to carry out here, in this city.
