For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (Romans 5:10)

Comments:

Francisco Diaz S.: God has a purpose in each of us that is fulfilled if we seek Him, accept Him, love Him and live according to His commandments. - They are not fulfilled and we will be disinherited if we live at our free will.
Thanks for your comment, Francisco. It is true that God has a purpose for each of us and that we must seek it, accept it, love it and live according to its commands. However, it is also important to remember that our salvation does not depend on our own works or merits. As the verse in Romans 5:10 says, "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved by His life." It is through the work of Jesus on the cross that we can be reconciled to God and receive forgiveness and salvation, not through our own efforts. Salvation is a gift of God's grace. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, “Because God is God, and not man, there is still forgiveness for you.” So no matter how far we have fallen into sin, there is always hope and forgiveness in God if we repent and return to Him.
Francisco Diaz S.: Not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father
You are right, Francisco. It is not enough to simply say "Lord, Lord," but Jesus teaches us that we must do the Father's will to enter the kingdom of heaven. As the verse mentions in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." This means that our faith in Christ must be accompanied by genuine obedience to God and his commandments. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, we must confess our sins, believe in Jesus, and turn from our evil path to be saved. Our commitment to live according to God's will is a tangible example of our faith. Let us remember that salvation is by grace through faith, but genuine faith produces fruit in our lives. So let us seek to do the will of the Father and live in obedience to his word.
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Thank you for your immeasurable forgiveness my LORD
Thank you for sharing your gratitude, Enrique. It is truly amazing the immeasurable forgiveness that God offers us. As the verse mentions in Hosea 11:9, "I will not execute the fierceness of My wrath; I will not destroy Ephraim again. For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst, And I will not come in fury." Even though we deserve punishment for our sins, God, in his love and mercy, forgives us when we repent and come to Jesus. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, "God does not keep His wrath forever: if you turn from sin and come to Jesus, God will turn away from His wrath." This immense forgiveness is a gift that we do not deserve, but that God offers us by his grace. Let us always thank our Lord for his forgiveness and seek to live in obedience and gratitude to Him.
