And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended. (Genesis 41:53)
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

In times of peace, we have to prepare for war

Believers should not wait for moments of crisis to strengthen their spiritual foundations. Every day, through prayer, reading the Word, and communion with other believers, they should prepare themselves for both normalcy and testing. While it is important to be vigilant against the wiles of the devil, believers should not become preoccupied with the machinations of the demonic hosts. They should focus on the love and grace of God, which are always resting on their lives. The main problem with some believers is that they see the Christian life almost exclusively from a crisis perspective, neglecting ethical growth, the strengthening of personality, and the daily cultivation of the Fruit of the Spirit. It is important to build solid walls to protect our spiritual life and build solid foundations to resist the pressures of the Christian life. Believers should plan for times of drought and adversity, so that when the Enemy rises to throw his fiery darts at them, they will find their armor ready to resist on the bad day. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Thank you that I know that you will always be with me in difficult times my LORD.
Hello, Enrique! Thanks for your comment. It is beautiful to know that we can trust that the Lord will always be with us, even in difficult times. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, it is important to strengthen our spiritual foundations during times of peace and prosperity, to be prepared when we face adversity. The armor of God, as mentioned in Ephesians 6:13, helps us endure evil days and stand firm. Let us continue to trust in the Lord and strengthen our relationship with Him at all times. God bless you!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us work to achieve a spirit of balance and trust in God, that we ignore the things that disturb us and achieve the peace and development that we aspire to.- We can do everything in Christ who strengthens us
Hello Francisco, thank you for your comment. I agree with you that it is important to work towards a spirit of balance and trust in God. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, peace and development are part of our inheritance as children of God. In Philippians 4:13 we are reminded that "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us." It is in Him where we find the strength to overcome disturbances and achieve the peace we long for. Let's continue trusting in the Lord and working on our spiritual growth. May the peace of God always be with you! Blessings.
Sabino Marroquín López.: The prodigious intelligence and wisdom that GOD gave to Joseph meant that there were seven years of abundance in Egypt, and seven years of famine in the world, this: example must be taken into account, because if in the year 2030 there is no water : There are only seven years of existence left in this world amen.
Hello Sabino, thank you for your comment. It is true that God gave Joseph great intelligence and wisdom to interpret Pharaoh's dreams and thus prepare for the seven years of plenty and the seven years of famine that would come. It is an important example of how we can take early action to face difficult times. However, regarding your reference to the year 2030 and the lack of water, it is important to remember that we do not have absolute certainty about the future. As believers, we trust that God is in control of all things and that He has the power to provide and care for His creation. We must not live in fear, but trust in His guidance and look for ways to be good stewards of the resources He has given us. Let us remember that in Matthew 6:34 Jesus encourages us by saying: "So do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring its own worries." Let us continue to trust in God and seek his wisdom to face the challenges that may arise. God bless you!
Marita0: Humans have to be prepared for all things to come, without fear because if they are well nourished by the word of God they will never be hungry. It is a pity that they are so attached to the mundane, blind because God is our sustenance and so empathetic with His brothers who do not see beyond their things. They do not take time for themselves. They take time for God. Reading the Bible is what teaches you to live as he taught us. Reflect and see what path we are taking, only two. good and bad, then make time for him who asks for nothing, only love and obedience and is the best teacher. Let's put God in our lives. Time, oh, another thing is not wanting to make time for him. Get to know him and you will see how many Things can change if God's will. Hello Marita, thank you for sharing your reflection. You are absolutely right, as human beings we must be prepared for everything that may come in our lives. Feeding on the Word of God strengthens us and gives us the necessary tools to face any situation. It is true that sometimes we can be too attached to earthly things and neglect our relationship with God. But as you mention, making time for Him is essential. Reading the Bible teaches us how to live according to the principles God has given us. Reflecting on our path and making decisions that bring us closer to Him is essential. It is important to remember that there are only two paths, the good and the bad. But when we put God at the center of our lives, we allow Him to guide us down the right path. The time we invest in knowing God and following His will allows us to change and grow in many aspects of our lives. Let us thank God for the life He has given us and ask forgiveness for our sins, trusting in His mercy. May we live under His protection every day and may the whole world experience His love and protection. God bless you greatly!
