God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying, (Romans 11:2)
Charles Spurgeon

He chose us from eternity, and will love us throughout eternity

The Lord does not reject those whom he loves. His love is permanent and serious. He chose us from eternity and will love us throughout eternity. He died for us and His honor is involved in our salvation. The Lord Jesus never rejects His members or His wife. We should never think that we are discarded by the Lord. He hates putting away. Hello, Enrique! Thanks for your comment. It is beautiful to recognize and thank the eternal love of our beloved Father. As Charles Spurgeon says in his devotional, the Lord does not reject us, but loves us from eternity and will love us throughout all eternity. His love is so deep that he even gave his life for us. We can trust that his love will never die. As it says in Romans 11:2, "God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew." Let's continue loving and trusting Him. Blessings!

Francisco Diaz S.: Not everyone who says Lord Lord!! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father. - Let us live in legality and justice and we will be well received.
Hello Francisco! Thank you for your comment and for bringing up that important reminder of Jesus' words in Matthew 7:21. It is true, it is not enough to just say "Lord, Lord," but we must also do the will of our heavenly Father. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, the love of the Lord is a serious and permanent matter. Living according to His will involves walking in legality and justice, always seeking to please Him and obey His commandments. By doing so, we will be welcomed into His kingdom. May the Lord help us to live according to His will and to seek His justice in all our actions. Blessings!

carla Pavon: God is definitely merciful even without deserving it, because we constantly sin his precepts and yet he loves us hoping that we reflect and walk towards him through his beloved son.
Hi Carla! Thanks for your comment! You are absolutely right, God is truly merciful even when we don't deserve it. Even though we constantly sin and fail to follow His precepts, His love for us is unconditional. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, God chose us from eternity and his love for us will never die. He patiently waits for us to reflect on our actions and draw closer to Him through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. May we take advantage of that grace and mercy He grants us and walk in obedience and love towards Him. May God bless you abundantly!

Amen, Carla. Thanks for your answer! May your heart be filled with gratitude and praise to our merciful God. Have a blessed day!
