For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Ephesians 2:8)

Heroes with feet of clay

God takes pleasure in working through imperfect people, as seen in the flawed biblical characters. We should still strive for spiritual excellence, but we don't have to be spiritual giants for God to use us. Even with our flaws, God can use our faith to display His power and mercy. God's blessings are for everyone who believes, not just those who are perfect. Read more...

Martha Eugenia Caro Montañez : Amen Amen 🙏🙏🙏, says the Word of the Lord, he who feels safe, take care that he does not fall. We are all in the process of Sanctification and it does not end until we are in the Presence of the Lord. Just as the Pharisees criticized Jesus for being with people they considered sinners, the Lord was clear in saying that He came for the sick, that is, those of us who need to grow in the Knowledge of the Lord. Help us Holy Spirit to be better before You every day, Amen 🙏
Amen, sister Martha Eugenia. As you remind us, we are all in a process of constant sanctification. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional says, "we don't have to be spiritual giants to see the glory of God in our lives." God is pleased to use imperfect people, with struggles and emotional ties, to manifest his power and mercy. As the psalmist mentions in the verse you quoted, the Lord takes into account those who are afflicted and needy. No matter how imperfect we feel, God is our help and our deliverer. Let us continue to grow in the knowledge of the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to help us to be better before Him every day. Amen!
Francisco Diaz S.: We are far from perfection, that is why it is our fight, to be better every day that we advance in our lives. - In the name of the Lord we will live for the glory of God and our salvation.
Amen, brother Francisco. As you mention, we are far from perfection, but our daily struggle drives us to be better people. Just as Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional tells us, we do not have to be perfect to live for the glory of God. He delights in using ordinary people, with all our weaknesses, to manifest his power and mercy. Let us continue to advance in our lives, seeking to be more pleasing to the Lord and submitting ourselves to a continuous process of sanctification. We trust that through our faith, God will break down barriers and bless us. May we live for the glory of God and for our salvation!
Rocío Trejo : May every day ask God to be a piece of clay in his precious hands to continue fighting to be better. God bless you.
Amen, sister Rocío. What a beautiful prayer you share with us. It is important that every day we humbly put ourselves in the hands of God, recognizing our fragility and our imperfections. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, God is pleased to use people with feet of clay, people like us, to manifest his power and glory. Let us continue fighting with God's help to be better every day and allow Him to shape our lives according to His will. May God bless you abundantly.
