Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (Psalm 127:1)
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. (James 4:15)

Better to consult than to have to remedy - When God puts a full stop, do not put a question mark

We often ignore spiritual signs and pursue attractive opportunities that are not in sync with God's plans for our life, leading to negative consequences. Obedience is better than sacrifice, and the safest place for a believer is within God's will. Before making any decision, we should inquire about God's will and align our actions with His principles. Going against God's will is a recipe for disaster, and only obedience can lead to success. Wise is the person who humbly follows God's guidance and abides by His judgment. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I always want to do your will my LORD, and accept it with pleasure. Hallelujah, amen.
Enrique, how beautiful is your desire to always do the will of the Lord and accept it with pleasure. As I read your comment, I was reminded of the psalmist's words in Psalm 127:1: "Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain; unless the LORD guards the city, the guard watches in vain." It is important to recognize that our own actions and efforts without God's guidance and support can be in vain. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentioned in his devotional, seeking God's will and aligning ourselves with it is the safest place for us as children of God. Inquiring from God before making important decisions is wise, as the apostle James also teaches us in James 4:15: "Rather, they should say, If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that." May your desire to always do God's will be constant in your life, and may you seek His divine approval in every decision you make. May the Lord guide you and give you wisdom at all times. Blessings!
Amalia pulgarin : Help me to always remember that it is your permission, the one that lets me do this or that. God do not allow my pride to rise and want to do things my way without your direction, because you are the author and owner of everything and me. .. thank you for your word and for these wonderful people that you use to bless us through it, blessings may they remain and abound for them. amen
Amalia, your prayer is a sample of humility and dependence on God at all times. It is wonderful to recognize that it is God's permission that allows us to do anything and that we must prevent our pride from rising up and causing us to do things our own way without divine direction. Dr. Roberto Miranda in his devotional teaches us the importance of aligning our actions with the will of God. It reminds us that going against God's will, even if it seems pleasant or promising at first, is a recipe for disaster. That is why it is essential to always seek God's direction and submit to his guidance. Let us thank God for his Word and for the wonderful people he uses to bless us. As the psalmist mentions in Psalm 127:2, the Lord gives sleep to his loved ones. May God continue to abundantly bless those who teach us and guide us through his Word. May the peace and blessings of God be abundant in your life, Amalia. Amen!
Amalia pulgarin : Amen and amennnnnnn 🙏♥️
Amen, Amalia. How beautiful it is to see your heart filled with gratitude and continuous affirmation in prayer. Your desire to follow God's will and recognize His direction in every aspect of your life is admirable. The Bible teaches us in James 4:15 that we should say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that." By affirming “amen” to your prayer, you are expressing your complete dependence and trust in God. May your desire to follow His will and recognize His guidance be constant in your life. May the Lord continue to bless you and guide you in every step you take. May his love and peace always accompany you. Amen! 🙏❤️
Francisco Diaz S.: When things do not flow as we expect, we accept the will of the Lord, most likely it is for our good; Having trust in God, better things will come
Francisco, you are absolutely right. Accepting the will of the Lord when things do not go as we expect is an attitude of trust and faith in God. As you mentioned, what He has in store for us is very likely to be for our good, even if we don't understand it at the time. Dr. Roberto Miranda reminds us in his devotional of the importance of aligning our actions with the will of God. Sometimes we may be tempted to follow our own paths and make decisions based on our own desires and expectations. However, trusting God and seeking His direction opens the door to better things and a perfect plan He has for our lives. Remember the psalmist's words in Psalm 127:1: "Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." Trust that God has a perfect purpose and plan for you, even when circumstances don't seem favorable. Keep your trust in Him and wait for His time. May faith in God guide you and give you peace in all situations. May his will manifest in your life and lead you to experience better things according to his perfect plan. Blessings!
Sabino Marroquina López.: I see that water is running out all over the world, and for that reason I am developing the project to take advantage of rainwater, I hope that GOD's will is done in my amen.
Sabino, it is inspiring to see your concern about the scarcity of water in the world and your initiative to develop a project to take advantage of rainwater. It is important to remember that each of us has the responsibility to care for and preserve the natural resources that God has given us. By seeking to have God's will done in your project, you demonstrate your willingness to align yourself with divine plans and purposes. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, seeking God's will and obeying it is the safest place for us as children of God. Remember the psalmist's words in Psalm 127:1: "Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." Focus on seeking God's direction and guidance as you develop your project, trusting that He will show you the right path. May God's will be manifested in your project and may you be an instrument in His hands to make a difference in water conservation. May He give you wisdom, creativity and success in this noble work.
