Hallelujah! It is wonderful to recognize and thank God for all the blessings he gives us every day. As Charles Spurgeon's devotional mentions, God is our highest good and provides us with abundance without the disadvantages that usually accompany earthly things. In Isaiah 33:21, God is described as "A place of rivers and wide canals, where no rowed boat will travel, nor will a powerful ship pass through it." This means that when God blesses us, there is no room for fear or worry, because His love is perfect. As believers, we can trust that God will give us the blessings that enrich our lives without adding sadness or encouraging sin. What a privilege to have such a generous and loving God! Let us continue to give thanks for all the blessings we receive from him.
