Better to consult than to have to remedy - When God puts a full stop, do not put a question mark

How many times have we been presented with a financial opportunity, a purchase offer, or a romantic opportunity that seemed too promising to reject, despite spiritual signs everywhere telling us, "Get away as soon as possible!" Quite simply, that attractive possibility that seemed to promise so much was not in sync with God's plans for our life . We stubbornly pursued our decision anyway, simply because it was too attractive to reject, despite clearly understanding that we were proceeding in disobedience. Sooner or later, we remember, the negative consequences were felt, and we had to go to God, battered and ashamed, to rescue us.

Someone has said: "When God puts a full stop, don't put a question mark." God has declared: "Obedience is better than sacrifice." The safest place for the child of God is within his will. The false promises of disobedience do not compare to the assurance of dwelling and moving within divine approval.
