Shema Israel
Faustino de Jesús Zamora VargasGod grew a special olive tree by choosing a nation to bless the world and all the families on earth. Christians are the branches that God supernaturally grafted onto the trunk of his natural olive tree. Christ is the graft, because faith has more credit in heaven than the efforts that men make in the earth to earn salvation. Even in times as difficult as today, where the manipulation of the truth corrupts the true facts, the Gentiles (non-Jews) redeemed by the blood of the Messiah, we feed on the sap that flows from the roots of the olive tree of God that is the people of Israel.
The Shema (Deut. 6. 4-5) that Moses taught to the Israelites was Jesus' response to the religious who tendentiously provoked him to give them his opinion on the most important commandment. To the Shema said from the lips of Moses, Jesus added a second project in the form of a commandment so that loving God in such a way would have repercussions on the human heart in favor of those around us. ‘Jesus replied:“ The most important is: ‘Listen, Israel; the Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. '"The second is this:' You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 'There is no other commandment greater than these. " (Mr 12.29-31).
