Words of hope in the midst of the crisis

RESUMEN: In the story of Martha and Mary, Martha is shown as the diligent and responsible one who goes out to meet Jesus when she hears of His arrival. Mary stays at home, perhaps praying. When Martha meets Jesus, she expresses regret that He did not arrive in time to save her brother from dying. But she also confesses her faith in God, saying that she knows whatever Jesus asks of God, He will give it to Him. This teaches us the importance of having positive, hopeful words even in the midst of pain and crisis, as words have power. We should trust in God's plan and not reproach Him for what we perceive as delays or shortcomings.

When Martha hears that Jesus is coming, she does not wait until He comes but goes out to meet him and Mary stays at home. It is interesting, isn't it? Marta is the diligent, the diligent, the conscientious, the responsible, and she is going to receive Jesus and runs to attend him and greet him, and to let him know what is happening. Maybe Mary stayed doing what? Praying maybe, she was more tender, more mystical that we also see that portrayed in the famous scene of Marta attending, working, preparing the table. Mary there, each one as manifesting her character and temperament by the way they react to the coming of Jesus.

Marta arrives where Jesus is and there is a very interesting dialogue where Marta says to the Lord: "Oh Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." There is something there of recrimination perhaps, perhaps a slight non-accusation but yes like a regret, Lord, dear, if you had come a little earlier, you would have hurried a little more my brother would not have died. How many times do we say so to the Lord, oh why didn't you hurry a little more, why didn't you do this? Why did you let me lose my house, why didn't you send me the money I needed to solve that situation that has now gotten worse, why didn't you heal my son before, why didn't you take him off drugs a little bit? before, now look how it is ?.
