SUMMARY: The text from Acts 2:14-18 describes Peter preaching to the crowd about the Holy Spirit and how it was prophesied in the book of Joel. The author presents two ways to read this text, either as a nice story or as a personal experience of the Holy Spirit working in oneself. The Holy Spirit is described as being able to transform a person and bring out greatness that was previously hidden. When the Baptism in the Holy Spirit arrives, the Holy Spirit opens our minds and helps us see the Scriptures and our lives in a different way. The author uses Peter as an example of a good Jew who listened to the Scriptures, but it was only after the Holy Spirit worked within him that he truly understood their meaning.

The Holy Spirit is essential for living a biblical life. When the Holy Spirit descends upon us, it opens our understanding of the Scriptures and makes it come to life within us. We begin to see our lives in the context of the Word and measure it according to the pattern of the Bible. The Holy Spirit uses our gifts to advance the interests of the Kingdom of God, making us prophetic instruments. Our lives become the Word made life, and we become partners with the Holy Spirit. We should pray for an even Church, where everyone operates under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. If we give our lives to Jesus, we become His servants, and He becomes our Shepherd, guiding, providing, and protecting us.

Acts chapter 2, beginning with verse 14, from 14 to 18: "Then Peter stood up with the eleven, and raised his voice and spoke to them, saying, Men of the Jews and all you who live in Israel, let this be known to you and listen to my words. , because these are not drunk as you suppose, because it is the third hour of the day" 9 in the morning, "but this is what was said by the prophet Joel: And in the last days, says God, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, "your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" and upon my servants and upon my maidservants, in those days I will pour out my Spirit and they shall prophesy. God bless His holy Word.
