SUMMARY: The book of Haggai speaks about the importance of prioritizing the rebuilding of the temple over personal needs and desires. The speaker reflects on the concept of time and how it can be divided into three dimensions: personal, societal, and action-oriented. He emphasizes the importance of discerning the times in which we live and seeking God's purpose for our lives amidst the distractions of consumerism and societal pressures. The message is a call to consider our priorities and whether God is at the forefront of our lives.

The message from the book of Haggai is to consider the times we're living in and our priorities, and to take firm action towards what God requires of us. We should not just stay in the emotional phase of receiving a prophetic word but use our reasoning and discernment to become prepared Christians. Our lives are measured by time, and we should reflect upon our lives and take affirmative action towards what God is calling us to do. Only when we obey the Lord in an affirmative way can our lives make an impact around us. We should have an encounter with Jesus that transforms everything and turns our lives into something completely different. The glory of God to come will be much greater than the glory of the past.

The book of Haggai, chapter 1. It’s time, brothers, right? We hear that phrase often: it is time. It’s about time. And I wanted to share with you some reflections about that concept of time and how this word time we could divide it among 3 different dimensions with respect to our lives.

I repeat that phrase, give careful thought to your ways. Brethren I recognize that many things in our lives are measured by time. Time with respect to our individual lives, we’re in a season, we are in a process. Time as if we are going to a certain period of time in the society in which we live. And time with respect to fact that we must take certain steps, certain action steps in the life in which we live.
