God is giving you grace, give him thanks

Charles Spurgeon

SUMMARY: When we pray, we should have no anxiety but give ourselves to joyful fellowship with God. Bring all our requests and needs to Him, thanking Him for His grace and not doubting. We should not hide anything and only go to God, not man. This will bring us God's peace that surpasses understanding. We should believe in Him and ask for His help with our unbelief.

We must have no desire and we only have to give ourselves to prayer. No anxiety, but a lot of joyful fellowship with God. Take your wishes to the Lord of your life, to the guardian of your soul. Come to Him with two portions of prayer, and one portion of fragrant praise. Do not pray doubtfully, but thankfully. Consider that you already have the requests and therefore thank God for His grace. He is giving you grace; give thanks.

Do not hide anything. Do not allow any need to engulf your chest; "let your requests be known". Don't go to the man. Go only to your God, the Father of Jesus, who loves you in Him.
