RESUMEN: The scene of Elisha sitting with the spiritual and civil authorities of Samaria illustrates the need for the Church of Jesus Christ to be present in the places where political and civil decisions are made. God is calling His Church to get involved in government, media, finance, culture, and academia to declare the Word of God, principles of the Gospel, and disciple the nations. The Church must prepare a group of Holy Spirit-filled individuals to dialogue at those levels and establish the principles of the Gospel in the foundations of society. The Church will be called to sit with the elders of cities and countries to declare the judgments of God and associate closely with civil authorities from a perspective of dictating God's Word and desires for society. We must prepare and ask the Lord to give us the Word of authority for our nations.

How interesting that we see Elisha sitting next to the spiritual and civil authorities of the city of Samaria. It seems to me that this scene is very important because it shows us the need for the Church of Jesus Christ in these prophetic times that I believe we are beginning to live to be a presence also in the places where the political and civil decisions of our society are processed.

God is calling His Church to take an important place in the public deliberations of our nations. God is calling His Church to begin to get involved in the affairs of government, the affairs of the media, the financial aspect of our nations, the governmental and economic aspects, the cultural aspects, where the big decisions are made, in the universities, academic sites.
