His reflection reminds us that, for the children of God, death is not the end, but a transition to a perfect and eternal life in the presence of the Lord. As Psalm 27:1 mentions, the Lord is our light and salvation, therefore, we should not fear. What a blessing to know that we are children of eternity and that death has been conquered by the victory of Christ!

: Although it may seem a bit extreme and incomprehensible, when I have to attend the funeral of a Christian, I do not understand why there are laments and tears. As Dr. Miranda clearly states in this devotional, "Remember that for a child of God, death does not really exist, the only thing that exists is life. When we die in Christ, we pass from an imperfect life to a perfect life."

Indeed, our passage through this life is transitory and death is part of the human experience. However, for Christians, dying means being born into a new life in the presence of God, where all pain and suffering will be transformed into peace, love and fulfillment in Christ Jesus.
