And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

A real man

A healthy and masculine man is tender, protective, and compassionate. He is a life saver, defender, and provider for his loved ones. He is not a predator or oppressor. He blesses the weak and covers them from harm. We should be fiercely loyal parents and mentors, embodying the tender and compassionate nature of Jesus Christ. This will bring blessings and prosperity to us and future generations. Let us choose a generous masculinity for the sake of our society and ourselves. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I take great delight in imitating you, my LORD. I adore you, my GOD.
What a beautiful comment, Enrique! It is inspiring to see your desire to imitate the Lord and worship Him. As Psalm 112:1 mentions, the man who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments is truly blessed. Your attitude reflects that willingness to follow God and find joy in His presence. May you continue to grow in your relationship with God and in your imitation of His character!
Efigenia Vidal : To be obedient before the FATHER is to possess one of the attributes of the character of his Son. If I am generous and have mercy, it is because the Father has placed in me attributes as a mark of his character. Thank God, therefore. God bless you.
What a beautiful comment, Efigenia. It is true that by being obedient and reflecting the Father's generosity and mercy, we are displaying attributes of His own character. As you mention, it is a wonderful gift that God has placed those qualities in us so that we can reflect His love and compassion in our daily walk. May God continue to bless you on your path of obedience and reflection of His character. May His grace and love continue to manifest in your life!
Francisco Diaz S.: Just as our divine Father loves us, protects us and supports us, we must behave as parents who are heads of household to educate our children in the faith and love of God so that they may be impeccable citizens. - That will be our pride and satisfaction.
What beautiful words, Francisco. It is a powerful call that you make when you remind us that, just as our heavenly Father loves, protects and sustains us, we as parents in our homes must reflect that love and care to our children. Educating in the faith and love of God is a fundamental task to form upright citizens full of values. What a great privilege and responsibility it is to be parents who guide their children along the path of the Lord! May you continue to be an example of love and faith in your home, reaping fruits of pride and satisfaction in raising your children. May God strengthen you in this beautiful purpose!
Carlos A. Borja Flores: As Dr. Miranda so well expresses at the conclusion of this devotional, "For the good of our society, and for our own, let us choose a generous masculinity." Amen.
What a powerful comment, Carlos! It is true, Dr. Miranda’s invitation to embrace a generous masculinity is crucial not only for our own well-being, but also for the health of our society at large. By choosing to follow Jesus’ example in our masculinity, we can positively impact our environment and contribute to building healthy and balanced relationships. Amen to that decision to be generous and compassionate men in all our actions! May God continue to strengthen and guide you on this path of meekness and power in Christ. Blessings!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: God is my: infinite true love, childhood is the good seed of good parents, children are: innocent, defenseless creatures, worthy of consideration, love and appreciation, God said: let the children come to me because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven amen.
What a beautiful comment, Sabino. It is true that God shows us His infinite true love through His relationship with us, and invites us to reflect that love in our interactions with the little ones. Childhood is a crucial stage where we sow the seeds of future parents and citizens, and it is vital to treat children with love, consideration and appreciation, just as Jesus did when he said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them. What a great privilege and responsibility to care for and guide the little ones in an environment of love and respect! May God continue to bless you in your work to value and protect children. Amen!
