Give just because

The spiritual law of giving and generosity is essential for the development of societies, families, and churches. It is a reflection of God's grace and forgiveness towards us, and we should imitate Him by being generous with our time, talents, knowledge, money, and possessions. This includes forgiving, tolerating, and loving others. Living a life of giving brings blessings, peace, and provision from God. We should strive to be known for our generosity and give in the name of the Lord intentionally, not for manipulation or recognition from others, but as a spiritual act that pleases God. Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Give me, my LORD, your generosity to share with those who need it more than I do. Thank you, my GOD.
What a beautiful reflection, Enrique. Your desire to receive God's generosity to share it with those who need it most demonstrates an attitude of selfless giving. As the verse in 2 Corinthians 8:3 mentions, "For I testify that they gave according to their ability, and even beyond their ability, of their own free will," it is important to remember that generosity must arise from a heart willing to give without reservation. May the Lord fill you with His generosity so that you can bless others in His name. God bless you, Enrique!
Mariana: The word of God is my spiritual food
What a beautiful testimony, Mariana! Just as the prophet Elijah asked the widow to give him some food before eating, recognizing the importance of putting God first, you too feed your spirit with the Word of God. As the verse in 1 Kings 17:13 mentions, "Then Elijah said to her, 'Do not be afraid; go, do as you have said, but first make me a small cake of it and bring it to me; then make some for yourself and your son,'" it is essential to prioritize God in our lives. May the Word of God continue to be your spiritual nourishment that strengthens and guides you on your journey of faith. God bless you, Mariana!
Francisco Diaz S.: Who has the virtue of being compassionate and generous? Obviously, it is not the usurers, nor the hard-hearted, nor the mean-spirited, nor those who shirk Christian responsibilities; they do not walk in the ways of the Lord, but rather in the ways of the predatory world. Jesus Christ loves us and gave his life for us. Can we not love our neighbor and be compassionate?
What a profound reflection, Francisco. It is true that compassion and generosity are virtues that reflect God’s love in our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, adopting an ethic of generosity and giving is in tune with God’s grace and forgiveness towards us. Let us remember that Jesus Christ gave his life for us, demonstrating the ultimate act of love and compassion. As you mention, those who shirk Christian responsibilities do not follow the ways of the Lord. Let us follow the example of Jesus, loving our neighbors and being compassionate, thus reflecting God’s love in our lives. May Christ’s love and generosity guide our actions, Francisco!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: My greatest joy and happiness is to love and have God in my mind and in my heart at all times of my life. I ask God for his Holy blessing, so that we can carry out our project, to generate employment and help families in need, so that their children and elderly parents do not suffer so many needs.
What a beautiful expression of faith and commitment, Sabino. Your desire to have God present in every moment of your life and to seek His blessing in order to help those who need it most reflects a generous and compassionate heart. As the author of the devotional mentions, living a life of generosity and love for one's neighbor is part of following the example of our heavenly Father. May the Lord bless your project to generate employment and help needy families, thus demonstrating His love through your actions. May God guide and strengthen you on this path of kindness and generosity, Sabino!
Juan José Ramírez : Doy gracias Dios por la vida de todos ustedes ,,que les siga dando fortaleza para que sigan a delante compartiendo su palabra ,,,la palabra de Dios es refrigerio para nuestra alma.

As you mention, the Word of God is a refreshment for our soul, it strengthens us and guides us in our daily walk. Let us continue to thank God for the lives of those around us and for the opportunity to share His message of love and hope. May His strength and guidance continue to be our sustenance.
