And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16)
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; (Luke 3:5)
Charles Spurgeon

The Lord will guide us

God's condescension is shown in the fact that he acts as a guide for the blind. We are all naturally blind to the way of salvation, but God leads us to it and opens our eyes. He also guides us through life, even when we cannot see the future. Those who trust in him will be led to safety and will be grateful for his guidance. We should entrust our way to him and surrender ourselves to him. Read more...

Efigenia Vidal : Thank you Lord, for taking care of me and keeping me in the course of life. Your Word says it well: once you brought me out of darkness into the wonderful light, you make me walk on the path of righteousness, trying in obedience not to deviate from the path, neither to the right nor to the left. I only know that walking under your guidance you will lead me to a safe path. God bless you. G
What a beautiful comment, Efigenia! It is comforting to recognize that our Lord guides us in the midst of darkness, transforming our lives with His wonderful light. As Charles Spurgeon's devotional mentions, in Isaiah 42:16, the Lord leads the blind along unknown paths, transforming darkness into light and rough places into plain. This promise gives us the certainty that He will lead us along safe and straight paths. It is wonderful to trust in divine guidance that straightens our paths and leads us to salvation. May we, as Luke 3:5 says, prepare the way of the Lord by straightening the crooked and making the paths smooth, remaining firm in obedience. May God continue to bless you in your walk under His direction. Blessings!

Wulfredo : “He will guide us until we have escaped all danger. Blessed are those who put their hand on that great Guide, and trust their way to Him and surrender themselves to Him.” Great Father, I sign the deed of purchase of the apartment that you have given me so that you may guide me and bring to light all that is unjust. And keep me from all danger. You are my light and my salvation. Amen.

Francisco Diaz S: Dr. Charles S. recommends in his message that we do not stray from the path that the Lord shows us, we must persist on the path of God, to stray is to run the risk of being devoured by bad influences that, like beasts, are on the lookout to attack those who stray and move away from divine protection. - Let us pray and praise the Lord at all times.
What an important reflection, Francisco. As you mention, following the path that the Lord shows us is essential to keep us safe from the bad influences that lurk around us, as Charles Spurgeon describes in his devotional.
