God speaks today Sunday | April 14, 2024

But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Joshua 22:5)
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3)

Unity at all costs

A united people are difficult to defeat. The church is governed by values of the Kingdom and Christ, which must be translated into love for God, fidelity to his word and love for one another. In the story of the conquest of the promised land, the qualities of the people that God began to raise up as a chosen nation are inspiration for today's Christian. Good intentions can be overridden by over-emotionalism, as seen in the Israelites who erected an alternate altar without consulting the Lord. Conflicts arise in the church because forgiveness and mercy are lacking, and misunderstandings abound when only gossip is heeded. The Lord Jesus Christ wants a united church, whose members hold high the doctrine of forgiveness and godliness, the practice of fellowship and brotherhood. For the world to believe, we must be united, unanimous in feeling, upright in walking, willing to give the best of each one of us to the Lord of the church. Despite the storms, gossip, misunderstandings, and the fragility of the weak in faith, the Lord wants the unity of his people at all costs. Read more...

Wulfredo : When love, forgiveness and mercy are missing; It is because we prefer gossip and motivation. Whose foundation is the doctrine of man. The love of God is confused with the love of man, the love of Christ is no longer preached to be treasured by the visit, but rather the material and new Christian paradigm.✝️ The triune church is a discipline of God, Father God Son and God the Holy Spirit is one true God. Amen 🙏
Hello, Wulfredo! Thank you for sharing your reflection. It is true that sometimes we deviate from the true love of God and Christ, focusing on the material and wrong paradigms. As you mention, unity and love must be foundations of the church. Let us remember what Ephesians 4:3 says, "striving to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." It is important to stay united in love and mercy, following God's commandments. May God help us to uphold His doctrine at all times! 🙏✝️

Moises Mora: It is good and delicious for God's brothers and collaborators to live in harmony in freedom and towards the same direction without pulling to the left or to the right or backwards, to go forward with the same purpose, which is written, which is only ID and preach The rest will come in addition, not for us by the power of his love and ours, and giving without receiving anything in return, just cleaning our feet and continuing to our goal and leaving in peace.
Hello, Moises Mora! Thanks for sharing your reflections. It is inspiring to see your desire to collaborate in harmony with your brothers in the work of God, moving together towards the same direction and purpose, as you mention.
