And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)

A complete gospel

As we enter the new year, we should focus on areas where we feel the Holy Spirit is at work and join in God's mission to redeem humanity. This means standing in the gap before God and doing good works founded on faith. Faith without works is dead. We must not only preach the gospel, but also live it by helping those in need. We need a new social doctrine of the church that is turned towards the community and helps those who are suffering. Let us strive to be like Christ and do good works for His glory. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : In this new year I entrust to my LORD all the plans I undertake. Hallelujah, amen.
Hallelujah! It is wonderful that you start the year by entrusting all your plans to the Lord. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, it is important to focus on those areas where we know that the Holy Spirit is working and join the epic that our Savior stars in day after day. Remember that the Lord continues to look for men and women who will stand in the gap before Him and do good works based on faith. As the verse in Ezekiel 22:30 says, God looked for someone to stand in the gap so that he would not destroy the earth. You can be that person who stands up and does good, just like Jesus, who went around doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, as Acts 10:38 mentions. May this new year be filled with blessings for you as you seek to live the gospel fully, not only in word, but also in testimony. God bless you and accompany you in each of your plans! Amen.
Carlos Antonio Borja Flores: God continue to bless you greatly my brothers from "God Speaks Today". As we begin a new year, it is important that we make a spiritual evaluation of our Christian walk, since it is possible that we have been omitting many or some actions that the Bible demands of us. As the author of this devotional says, it is necessary to live a complete gospel - of word and testimony - since we can cause collateral damage to those who have received the message of the word of God, abandoning them in their material needs halfway along the way. May God give us wisdom from above (James 1:5), to correct what we need to correct.
Amen, brother Carlos Antonio Borja Flores. It is true, as we begin a new year it is important to make a spiritual evaluation of our Christian walk and examine whether we are living a complete gospel, both in word and in testimony. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, if we do not preach a complete gospel, we can cause collateral damage to those whom we have invited to receive Christ. It is essential to remember that our Christian witness is not only limited to sharing the word of God, but also to acting on behalf of those who need the Bread of Life and daily bread. As you mention, it is important that we find wisdom from above, as James 1:5 tells us, to correct what we need to correct in our walk with Christ. May God guide us and give us the wisdom necessary to live a complete gospel and be a blessing to those around us. May God continue to bless you greatly!

Lucrecia de Ubico: I feel very blessed with all the daily readings 🙏🏼
What a beautiful testimony, Sister Lucrecia de Ubico! It is a blessing to know that you feel blessed with all the daily readings. The word of God is living and effective, bringing comfort, guidance, and transformation to our lives. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, our life in Christ has meaning and purpose, and it is wonderful to be able to immerse ourselves in His word and receive His direction and teaching daily. Cesar Gonzales Zapata: Yesterday I finished another year on earth and a new year begins in the calendar of our life, it is my desire to share with you this Word: "Matthew 07: 24 to 27.- Everyone who listens to my words and acts accordingly, can compare to a sensible person who built his house on a foundation of living rock: The rains came, the rivers overflowed, and the winds blew violently against the house; but it did not fall, because it was built on a foundation of living rock. But everyone who "Listen to my words, but act accordingly, you can be compared to a foolish person who built his house on sandy ground. The rains came, the rivers overflowed and the winds blew violently against the house, which sank, ending in total ruin." Family and friends in Christ, it is time for each of us to pay due attention to what the Lord Jesus Christ, in the great Love that he has for each of us, advises and warns us and assimilates his teaching; Previous hours ago, the year 2023 ended and the cycle of 2024 began, and in each of our homes this phrase HAPPY NEW YEAR was pronounced, the wish that we traditionally pronounce; but it does not have a positive result, and after this celebration, normality comes in the daily lives of each of us; And I say this from my own experience. Well, today the Lord is inviting each of us to plan our daily lives, starting with FIRST giving him thanks for everything we have today and what in his great Love he will give us tomorrow; SECOND, but for this to happen today, God advises us to BE SENSE AND PRUDENT, to lay solid foundations in our projects, whether in our home, work, perhaps in a business or perhaps in our relationships with our family, friends, co-workers, neighbors. etc Because in this way we will have a favorable result for us and then it will truly have been a truly HAPPY YEAR 2024, today is the time to make this decision and make it a reality, being aware that God never leaves us alone. But many times the human being of Him. Many blessings to each of you and a big hug
Dear brother Cesar Gonzales Zapata, may the peace of the Lord be with you! Thank you for sharing this powerful Word from Matthew 7:24-27 with us. It is an important reminder of the importance of listening to the words of Jesus and acting on them. In this new year, it is crucial that we build our lives on a solid foundation, which is the living rock that is Jesus. By doing so, we will be prepared to face the storms of life and remain steadfast, because our faith is rooted in Him. It is also relevant that we examine ourselves and make wise and prudent decisions in all areas of our lives. Planning and establishing solid foundations in our projects, relationships and responsibilities will help us achieve favorable results. Let us remember that God is always with us and will guide us in every step we take if we seek his wisdom and obey his teachings. May this year 2024 be a time of spiritual growth and blessing in all areas of your life. May the Lord strengthen you and guide you in every decision you make. Abundant blessings to you and your loved ones! May the love and grace of God always surround you! A big hug in Christ.
Manuel Rincon: The word is the bread of life.
Amen, brother Manuel Rincon. The word of God is truly the bread of life for our souls. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, we need the Bread of Life, which is Jesus, to satisfy our spiritual hunger and find fulfillment in Him. In John 6:35, Jesus Himself said, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst." The word of God reveals to us who Jesus is, his love, his grace and his salvation for us. It is through it that we can know God and have an intimate relationship with Him. In this new year, may we continue to seek and nourish ourselves daily with the word of God, so that we can grow spiritually and receive the eternal life that only Jesus can give. May the Lord bless you abundantly and guide you in your continued pursuit and delight in His word. May the bread of life, Jesus, be your sustenance and strength at all times! Blessings in Christ!
