God speaks today Saturday | December 16, 2023

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (Habakkuk 2:2)
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: (2 Corinthians 3:12)

Publicly tie yourself to your prayer

We often avoid praying publicly for fear of failure or looking bad to others, but this robs our prayers of power. By verbally expressing our requests in a public way, we establish a spiritual commitment that adds weight to our prayers and unleashes the power of God. While there are times when intimate requests should be kept private, generally, sharing our spiritual goals and requests with others is a declaration of war on the principalities that seek to overwhelm us and a strong declaration of confidence in God's faithfulness. By declaring our visions and requests to those around us, we receive divine support and bring the answer we need. Read more...

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. (2 Corinthians 7:4)
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)
But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. (1 Thessalonians 2:2)

Dear Enrique Meneses Muñoz, thank you for sharing your comment and your love for God. It is wonderful to want God to honor our prayers by following the path He approves. Francisco Diaz S.: Let's gather together and Honor the Lord
Hello Francisco Diaz S., thank you for your comment. It is wonderful when we gather as a community of believers to honor the Lord together. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, sharing our goals and prayers with other believers allows us to establish a spiritual commitment that adds power and weight to our prayers. It is also a way of declaring our faith and trust in God's faithfulness. Let us continue to gather and honor the Lord in community, strengthening each other in faith. God bless you!

Dear Sabino Marroquin Lopez, thank you for sharing your experience in the family prayer group and for your testimony of praise and gratitude to God. It is beautiful to know that you gather with your family to worship God and pray together, recognizing the benefits they receive each day. It is also very valuable that they are interceding for the health of your daughter, Luz Elena Marroquín Cuellar. Jennifer : I disagree. God works according to his will, spreading my prayer does not compromise him, we ask according to his will and mercy and if so, God fulfills but only by his grace.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for sharing your perspective. It is true that God works according to his will and that our prayers must be aligned with it. As you mention, asking according to God's will and mercy is essential. However, Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional does not suggest that spreading our prayers is a guaranteed formula to obtain what we ask for. Rather, it highlights that sharing our requests and declaring them publicly can strengthen our faith and increase the power of our prayers. By verbalizing our requests publicly, we are making a prophetic declaration of faith that unleashes divine support. Each should seek guidance from the Holy Spirit as to when and how to share their prayers. We trust in God's grace and will at all times. May God bless you and guide you in your relationship with Him.
