Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. (Isaiah 60:21)
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16:14)
Charles Spurgeon

Let us seek the enlightenment of the Spirit

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus by showing us the things of Christ himself. Jesus is the best recommendation and there is no other way to adorn it except with His own gold. The Spirit opens our minds and the Scriptures to reveal our Lord to us, and this is a great privilege known to those who have experienced the beatific vision. We should seek the illumination of the Spirit to glorify Jesus, and have vivid impressions of His person, work, and glory. Wherever there is a heart enriched by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, there will be a glorified Savior beyond all expression. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May the Spirit of GOD be with me always, and enlighten me. Hallelujah.
Amen, Enrique Meneses Muñoz. It is beautiful to desire and seek the illumination of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As Charles Spurgeon says in his devotional, "The comforter shows us what he has received from our Lord Jesus. We never see anything clearly unless He reveals it to us" (Spurgeon). It is through the Holy Spirit that we can understand and see clearly the things of Christ. May the Spirit of God guide you and reveal to you the glory and greatness of our Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!
Moises Mora : How beautiful every sole of our feet, everything about us will reflect what the Lord has done in each one of us, Holy Spirit I need you, today more than yesterday.
Amen, Moisés Mora. It is wonderful to think about how everything we are and everything we do can reflect what the Lord has done in our lives. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, "Let us seek the illumination of the Spirit, not to gratify our curiosity, nor even to bring us personal comfort, but to glorify the Lord Jesus" (Spurgeon). It is important to recognize our dependence on the Holy Spirit and cry out for His guidance and power in our lives. May the Holy Spirit fill you every day and help you live in a way that honors and glorifies the Lord. Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: May it not be with our physique and our appearance that we honor the Lord, but rather with our works and our actions that we honor and glorify the Lord and with the inner self humble of condition and sincere feeling. - God does not look at our face, God looks at our hearts.
That's right, Francisco Diaz S., God does not look at our external appearance, but at what is in our hearts. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, "Oh that we would have such vivid impressions of His person, and work, and glory, that we could cry out with heart and soul to praise Him!" (Spurgeon). It is through our actions and works, and through a humble and sincere heart, that we can honor and glorify the Lord. May we always seek to reflect God's love and grace in everything we do, so that we may truly honor and glorify Him. May the Lord bless you greatly!
Miriam: Be Just because He is just, we were created in His image and likeness! He is King of Justice! Let us be those children who govern with justice, because what He gives us is what He judges in us. Who is fair? He who believes him, he who remains faithful!!
Amen, Miriam. You're right. We were created in the image and likeness of God and He is the King of Justice. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, "Where there is a heart enriched by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, there will be a Savior glorified beyond expression" (Spurgeon). Being righteous and honoring God with our lives involves believing in Him and remaining faithful to His Word. May we reflect God's justice and love in everything we do, being instruments of His grace and mercy in this world. May the Lord help us live lives that are righteous and faithful to Him! Abundant blessings to you.
Sabino Marroquín Lopez.: The farmer is a valuable being, who with his back to the sun and the water: tills the land so that it bears fruit for food, may GOD bless them and love them.
Amen, Sabino Marroquín López. It is true, the work of the peasant farmer is of utmost importance, since with his effort and dedication he tills the land so that we can have food. As Charles Spurgeon's devotional mentions, "Jesus is His very best recommendation. There is no other way to adorn Him except with His own gold" (Spurgeon). In every seed that is sown and in every fruit that is harvested, we can see the goodness and provision of God. May the Lord bless and protect all peasant farmers, and give them wisdom and strength in their work. Let us thank God for his work and for the food he provides us. May God bless you abundantly!
