O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. (Jeremiah 18:6)
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? (Romans 9:20)

Father, Your Will be done because I am a mere servant of Yours

The Lord humbled himself and became a slave to God, obeying the Father's Will even to the point of death on the cross. This attitude of total surrender and humility is what every child of God must follow, acknowledging that they owe everything to God and have no right to demand anything from Him. God can do whatever He wants with us and in us. We must accept everything that comes from the Hand of God, with the attitude that we are mere instruments in His hands. This attitude allows God to do everything He wants to do in our life. Our posture should be: "Father, Your Will be done in my life." This attitude brings great dignity and power to our lives. Dear Francisco, thank you for your comment. I agree with you that we must accept God's will in all the circumstances of our lives. Carlos A. Borja Flores: How difficult it is to persevere in situations that we do not understand! Job's example is very important, because it teaches us the lordship of our God. Resting in Him and meditating on What are we missing to achieve God's purposes in our lives when He called us? is important. Job 1:20-22; 2:9-10; 42:1-6, are guides to be able to conduct ourselves appropriately when we experience situations that we do not humanly understand.
Dear Carlos, I share your reflection on the difficulty of persevering in situations that we do not understand. As you mention, Job's example is a powerful testimony of trust and submission to the lordship of our God. Through Job's story, we see how he was able to rest in God and reflect on his purpose in the midst of his suffering. The references you mention from Job 1:20-22, 2:9-10 and 42:1-6 are true guides for us when we face circumstances that are difficult for us to understand. They teach us to trust in God's wisdom and plan, even when we cannot see the answer or purpose behind our experiences. May Job's example inspire us to trust God and seek His guidance in all areas of our lives. That in the midst of situations that we do not understand, we can persevere and find comfort in the faithfulness and lordship of our God. Blessings!
ANA MARIA: God is fair to everyone, he is the Sun of justice, he pays attention to his children, he knows our hearts very well, our way of thinking and our entire being. He is GOD OF JUSTICE, JUST JUDGE and knows how he will reward us. We cannot be like the Pharisees, we have to be sincere, fair in all situations, otherwise the Lord is also a consuming fire, which is why we must fear GOD and act in justice and truth.
Dear Ana María, thank you for your comment. I agree with you that God is a just God and that He knows every detail of our lives, including our thoughts and motivations. As you mention, it is important that we be sincere and fair in all situations, knowing that God is the just Judge who will reward according to our actions. It is also relevant to remember that, as Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, we must have a reverent fear of God, since He is a consuming fire. This invites us to live in justice and truth, knowing that God examines our hearts and our actions. May the Holy Spirit guide us and strengthen us to act in justice and truth in all areas of our lives. May we always keep in mind the sovereignty and justice of God, trusting that He will reward each person according to their works. God bless you richly!
