Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. (Psalm 131:2)

It is true, the preaching of Dr. Roberto Miranda invites us to have an attitude of submission, humility and total surrender towards the Lord. As the psalmist mentions in Psalm 131:2, we must still our soul and be like a weaned child in its mother's lap, recognizing our fragility and total dependence on God. Furthermore, as Jesus says in Matthew 18:3, we must convert and act like children to enter the kingdom of heaven. May the Lord help us cultivate this attitude of humility and submission in our daily lives. Amen!

As you mention, God knows everything, even before our words are on our tongue. He is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, and his name is above every name. The pride, power and self-sufficiency of man are ephemeral and fade with death. However, humility is sublime and transcends beyond this world. As you mentioned, the spirit of the humble rises to the glory of the Father, while the spirit of the proud becomes dull and fades away. Humility allows us to recognize our total dependence on God and opens the doors to receive his blessing and grace. May the Lord help us to always cultivate an attitude of humility in our lives.
