But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? (Luke 17:7)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

God does not have to do anything for us - Everything He does is by grace

The parable of the servant mistreated by his master is an exaggerated illustration of the truth that we are insignificant before the greatness of God. We owe everything to God, and He treats us with love and kindness despite having every right to do otherwise. We are like slaves to God, with no will of our own and no rights, and we must have an attitude of total surrender to His will. We owe everything to God and have no right to ask for anything, and everything He does for us is by grace and mercy. We must always say in our hearts, "Lord, whatever You want from me, that is what I am going to do." Read more...
