And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. (John 9:39)

Sin of unbelief

Spiritual blindness requires recognition, courage, and humility. Unbelief is darkness, and the only cure is faith. Jesus is the light that can illuminate spiritual eyes and give sight to the blind. Those who reject the light will be blinded by their vanity, while those who accept it will walk as children of light. Only Christ can be the source of light, and we must collaborate with Him in breaking down the sin of unbelief. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I firmly believe in the word of my LORD. Hallelujah, amen.
Hallelujah! Amen, Henry. It is wonderful to have a firm faith in the word of the Lord. His word guides us and illuminates us in the midst of darkness. As the devotional by Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas says, disbelief makes us sinners and plunges us into spiritual darkness. But thanks to the light of Christ, we can open our eyes and allow Him to illuminate our lives. In John 9:39, Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who see might become blind." Jesus is the light that allows us to see the truth and experience his glory. Also, in Isaiah 60:2 we are reminded that although darkness will cover the earth, the Lord will dawn upon us and his glory will appear. May you continue to walk in the light of the Lord and share his love with those who are still in the dark. God bless you brother!
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I firmly believe in the word of GOD. Hallelujah, amen.
Amen, Henry! It is beautiful to see your firmness in the word of God. In the devotional by Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas, he tells us about how disbelief keeps us in spiritual darkness, but thanks to the light of Christ we can open our eyes and see the truth. The Word of God teaches us in Ephesians 5:8: "because before you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light." By believing in the word of God, we become light in the Lord and bring his light to those who are still in darkness. As you mentioned, firmly believing in the word of God is cause for joy and praise. I encourage you to keep walking in God's light and share his love and truth with those around you. God bless you and keep you always!
Francisco Diaz S.: The majority of men, although they have eyesight, do not see, and although they have ears, they do not hear, because seeing the manifestations of the Lord they do not take them into account and hearing the calls of the Lord they do not attend to it, nor do they receive it.- Let us live with Christ and in Christ who is the light of the world.- Thank you Dr. Faustino
Thanks for your comment, Francis! What you mention is true, many times we can have all our senses intact, but we are not capable of perceiving the manifestations of the Lord or responding to his calls. As you well say, we must live with Christ and in Christ, who is the light of the world. In the devotional by Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas, the role of Jesus is highlighted as the only one capable of illuminating our spiritual eyes and giving sight to the blind today. Through its light, we can discern the truth and live in full communion with God. May we continue to be attentive to the manifestations and calls of the Lord, opening our hearts and receiving his light in our lives. God bless you and guide you always, Francisco! We appreciate your words of appreciation to Dr. Faustino.
