But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. (2 Kings 5:11)
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. (Matthew 8:8)

A treatment for pride

There are two types of servants in the Church of Jesus Christ: those who are religious and only know the literal part of the Bible, liturgy, religiosity, and rituals but do not know the supernatural power of God, and those who do know the supernatural power of God and want to be part of that supernatural people. God is preparing a scenario where the Church of Jesus Christ will exercise very powerful authority in the world and be a source of a word of wisdom and a solution to the nations. Elisha discerns the arrogance of the king of Syria and Naaman and wants to show them that the God of Israel cannot be treated as a mere provider of miracles. God requires a humble, simple, broken approach. Naaman is scandalized when Elisha sends his servant to tell him to go to the Jordan River and lie down seven times to be healed. Naaman thought he deserved a grandiose scene but God wants to deal not only with our need but also with our personality. God's plans are comprehensive, and He wants to work in a much more comprehensive way in our lives and use us as His instruments on a large scale. Read more...

Ivonne Leon : Your words and explanation give me much more strength, and continue trusting in Christ our Lord. Right now my daughter and I are going through very difficult circumstances with her two and a half year old daughter. If possible do not post from here . The girl was being sexually abused by her father, my daughter's husband, this was reported to social workers and the police. They are already separated once the complaints were made, he was assigned two days a week for assisted visits and starting tomorrow Wednesday (and every following Wednesday) they assigned him to pick up the girl at school at 3 pm and deliver it the next day (Thursday) to the school at 10 am. This will repeat every week My daughter is devastated and very afraid, because the girl is going to be completely unprotected and at his mercy, my daughter has already lost all hope and even Faith, I still keep my Faith in GOD and our Lord who is going to protect her, and I believe in DIVINE JUSTICE. I can't find words on how to relieve my daughter, she disarms me when she tells me where GOD was when the court decided that she should stay with him alone until the next day, I would like to have your prayers and advice, if possible, and to be able to pass it on to my daughter. Thank you very much and GOD BLESS YOU.
Dear Ivonne, I am deeply sorry for the difficult situation you are going through with your daughter and your granddaughter. I understand that these times can be heartbreaking and full of uncertainty. Let me remind you that God is a refuge and a strength in the midst of difficulties. Although I cannot offer you legal advice, I want to encourage you to trust and place your trust in the Lord. In moments of great distress, it is normal to question where God is and why he allowed certain circumstances. However, we can find comfort in knowing that God is a God of justice and mercy. He sees and knows all things, even those that are difficult for us to understand. I invite you to continue clinging to your faith in God and trust that He has the power to protect and guide your granddaughter. As for your daughter, it is important to be there for her and listen to her in the midst of her pain. Sometimes just being there to support and hold her can be a great comfort. Additionally, I encourage you to seek professional support, such as therapy or support groups, that can help your daughter process and heal from this traumatic experience. Finally, I want you to know that you have my prayers. I am praying that God's peace and protection surround your family, especially your granddaughter.
