Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:7)
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (1 John 2:5)

Francisco Diaz S. : If we are Christians we must be authentic Christians, not dress up as Christians to pretend while we live in a muggy world.- Being a Christian is following Christ in love, righteousness and obedience to the Father.- Christ loves us.
Thanks for your comment, Francis! You are absolutely right, being authentic Christians implies following Christ in love, righteousness and obedience to the Father. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, obedience to the Word of God is essential to experience victory in our lives. In the devotion, it is also mentioned that the true motivation for the church comes from the Word of God and that the success of the church depends on your obedience. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:15: "If you love me, keep my commandments." Let us follow the example of Christ and live authentically as his followers, loving, acting righteously and obeying the heavenly Father. Blessings on your walk as an authentic Christian!
