And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. (1 Samuel 15:22)
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:8)

God blesses the children of obedience

King Saul was rejected by God because of his disobedience in sparing the kingdom of Amalek and taking spoils from them. We often justify our disobedience and focus on the spoils rather than aligning our actions with God's will. We should strive for obedience and trust God's plans, even if they seem crazy, as he knows the end of the story and the consequences in our walk with him. Let us pray for those who prioritize earthly gains and justify disobedience to the Lord. Let's live for the Lord of glory in subjection and true agape. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I always want to obey GOD
Hello, Enrique! It is wonderful that you always want to obey God. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, obedience is something very important to God. He blesses us when we are children of obedience. In the Bible, in 1 Samuel 15:22, Samuel said, "Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as well as in obedience to the voice of the LORD?" Obeying God is better than any sacrifice we can make. Let us continue to seek God's will and strive to obey him at all times. May God continue to bless your life!
Rosa María : Regarding this reading, sometimes we certainly listen to the ministry that we have that God has sent us but we are afraid of commitment in the first place and secondly our pastors do not believe that it was a mandate from God they think that it is only our ideas and they do not let us move forward they prohibit us from this or that ministry because we are not yet prepared they have told us if you are going to go out and preach what you are going to preach if you do not know anything that is total discouragement even knowing that they do not even know how we can cope with such a task and thirdly no there is union as the body of Christ that we are, thus the scripture says our God is the head and we are the body of Christ Jesus, and thus it is not possible to advance. God bless you 🙏🙏😇😇
Hi Rosa Maria! I understand your concerns and frustrations. Sometimes it can be difficult when we feel a call from God, but we encounter obstacles and discouragement in our church or among our leaders. However, it is important to remember what Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional: "The Lord is in control and we are out of control." Even if our leaders do not understand or do not recognize the call we feel, the most important thing is to seek God's direction and mandate. Remember that the purpose of our service and ministry is for the glory of God, not to please others. If you believe that God has called you to a specific ministry, continue to seek his guidance and direction through prayer and study of his Word. Trust that God will equip you and prepare you to fulfill his mandate. Furthermore, it is important to seek unity as the body of Christ. We are all part of the same body and we must support each other in our walk with God. Pray for your church and for your leaders, asking for wisdom and guidance for them. Also remember that God is our head and he has a perfect plan for each of us. May God bless you and give you strength in your quest to obey his calling on your life!
Sabino Marroquín López.: Serve the humble beggar in need, obey and pay attention to the word of God, we have to apply it, the believing children of God, amen.
Hello Sabine! Thanks for your comment. It is true, as believing children of God, we must be willing to serve others, especially those who are humble and needy. Obedience and attention to the word of God are fundamental in our Christian life. In Philippians 2:8, we are told that Jesus humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death. Following his example, we must be willing to obey God and pay attention to his word in all areas of our lives. Serving others is a tangible way to demonstrate our love for God and for others. When we care about the needs of others and strive to help them, we are reflecting the love and compassion of Christ. May the Lord give us the strength and willingness to serve others in a humble and obedient way, so that we can glorify his name. May God bless you abundantly in your service and obedience to his word! Amen.
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : How the word says that it is better to obey than many sacrifices, that it is better to place yourself at God's command than to live a life of ups and downs, today I look at God and tomorrow I am disobeying, God loves a pure heart, that obeys and lives for Him. Jesus obeyed his father having everything, in sacrifice he gave his life for us, because we do not give our hearts in sacrifice to God, that it is difficult for us to obey. Blessings
Hello Gustavo! Thanks for your reflection. You are absolutely right, the word of God teaches us that it is better to obey him than to make many external sacrifices. God values a pure and obedient heart more than any kind of ritual or sacrifice. Jesus himself gave us the perfect example of obedience by obeying his heavenly Father and laying down his life for us. It is true that sometimes we can have ups and downs in our obedience and it is easy to fall into disobedience. But we must remember that God loves us and encourages us to live for Him, to set our eyes on Him at all times. Giving our hearts to him in sacrifice means completely surrendering to his will, no matter how much it costs us to obey. May the Lord give us the strength and the will to obey him in all areas of our lives. May we live a life of total obedience and surrender to God, knowing that his love and blessings accompany us on this path. May God richly bless you as you seek to obey him!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us love and adore God without condition or worldly interests.- God loves us and knows our needs, and gives each person what they deserve for their actions.
Hello Francisco! Thanks for your comment. You are right, we must love and adore God without worldly conditions or interests. He loves us unconditionally and knows our deepest needs. As you mention, God is fair and treats us according to our acts. When we love and adore God without expecting anything in return, we show genuine love and total dedication. We should not seek our own interests or worldly benefits in approaching God, but seek his will and glorify his name at all times. Remember that God is our provider and caretaker. He knows what we need and will give us what is best for us according to his perfect will. Trust that God is in control and that he will give us what we deserve, not only in terms of justice, but also in terms of his love and grace. Let us continue to love and worship God without conditions or selfish interests, always seeking his glory and obeying his word. May God bless you and guide you in your walk with Him!
Diogenes Hernandez: Thank you for the daily Bible portion. It is a strength for my life as a Christian. We cannot get tired of saying what we see and hear. Our mission as followers of Christ is to give by grace what we receive. Forward; time is short. The Lord does not delay his return. Blessings
Hello Diogenes! You're welcome, I'm happy to be able to share the biblical portion and that it be a strength for your life as a Christian. You are absolutely right that as followers of Christ, our mission is to share what we have seen and heard, and to give by grace what we have received. It is important to remember that time is valuable and that the return of the Lord is near. In this time that remains to us, we must continue to share the love and truth of Christ with those around us. We must live according to his will and proclaim his Gospel to every creature. May our life be a living testimony of God's work in us, so that others can know him and experience his love and salvation. May the Lord give us strength and encourage us to move forward with courage and diligence, knowing that his return is near. May we live with purpose and passion, always looking ahead and trusting in your guidance and provision. May God richly bless you in your walk with him and in your mission to share his love and truth!
Diogenes Hernandez: Thank you very much brother for your opinion. Maranatha.
You're welcome, brother Diogenes! I am here to help you and share opinions based on the word of God. Maranata is an Aramaic word that means "Come, Lord Jesus!". It is an expression of longing and anticipation for the second coming of Christ. How beautiful it is to have that hope in our hearts and be prepared for his return. May the coming of the Lord always be a reason for joy and expectation in our lives as believers. May we live each day with the awareness of his soon coming, seeking to honor and serve him faithfully. May the Lord bless and keep you, and may his grace and peace be with you always! Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus!
