The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: (Psalm 146:8)
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (John 21:17)

After a fall

When people begin a new life in Christ, they experience great joy and think that spiritual life will always go up. However, oversights can lead to mistakes and sins, causing discouragement. Peter was an outstanding disciple who betrayed the Lord, but Jesus did not despise him and invited him to continue his life of service. If we relapse into sin, we must resist the urge to abandon the path and hold on to our love for the Lord, relying on the Spirit of God to help us move forward. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I trust in the Spirit of GOD to keep me going. Amen.
Hello, Enrique! Thank you for sharing your trust in the Spirit of God to keep going. In Alberto González Muñoz's devotional, he also encourages those who have relapsed into sin to hold on to their love for the Lord and stay on the path. As he mentions: "If we ever have such an experience, the important thing is to stay on the path and cling to the Spirit of God. He will help us to pick ourselves up and continue advancing in the Christian life" (devotional, paragraph 7). It is beautiful to know that we can trust in the Spirit of God to keep going and overcome any obstacle that comes our way in our walk with Christ. May God bless you and give you strength to persevere in your Christian life. Amen!
Francisco Diaz S.: Human beings are weak by nature, we are afraid of danger, we are attracted to worldly things; call it sex, money or harmful malice.-Our strength is in our faith and in the love of Christ Jesus our King and Lord.
Hello Francisco! You are absolutely right, as human beings we are weak by nature. But as you mention, our strength is in our faith and in the love of Christ Jesus, our King and Lord. In Alberto González Muñoz's devotional, he reminds us that even when we fall into sin or face difficulties, we can hold on to the love we feel for the Lord and resist the temptation to abandon the path (devotional, paragraph 6). Gustavo Martinez Afanador : As children of God we must be aware and not neglect our spiritual life, the enemy is looking for the weak to devour and make him fall into sin, the only thing we must seek for help is the LORD who gives us his hand to get up and this depends on us not to faint, but to be in confidence with God. Blessings
Hello Gustavo! You are absolutely right, as children of God we must be vigilant and not neglect our spiritual life. The enemy is always on the lookout, looking for opportunities to weaken us and cause us to fall into sin. But as you mention, we must seek the help of the Lord, who extends his hand to us to lift us up. As John 21:17 says: "Jesus said to him for the third time, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Pedro was saddened because the third time he said to him: 'Do you love me?' And He answered Him: 'Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You.' 'Feed My sheep,' Jesus told him." It is important that we do not give up and maintain our trust in God. He is our refuge and strength, who sustains us in moments of temptation and helps us to persevere. May God bless you abundantly in your spiritual walk. Blessings!
