RESUMEN: The passage in Mark 6:30-44 provides insight into a fulfilling life of ministry and impact. The disciples gathered around Jesus after their ministry trip to report to him and recharge their energy. To lead a successful and fruitful life, we need to continually be centered around the person of Christ and have intimacy with Him. We need to use the Word of God, times of fasting and prayer to recharge ourselves and remain close to the Spirit. It is important to report everything to the Lord, the good and the bad, and revel in the release and purity of letting it all out. This passage shows the importance of recharging ourselves with the power of God to lead fulfilling lives.

I want to ask you to go to the Book of Mark, the Gospel according to Mark and I want to start by encouraging us all to come to church with our Bibles and you know to embarrass ourselves on the train and show our Bibles and be part of that witnessing crowd that speaks to the world about the people who are founded on the word of God.

There’s a passage there on Mark, chapter 6, verse 30, that I’d like to share with you tonight. Mark 6:30. I’ll start reading it and I can just hear it and maybe sometime we’ll also be able to project in the background so that you can have it there as well.
