RESUMEN: The story of the siege of Samaria in Second Kings chapter 6 shows us that no situation is too desperate for God. Even in extreme situations like famine and cannibalism, God can provide a solution. As Christians, we should never give up hope because we have a way out available to us through God. The apostle Paul reminds us in Second Corinthians chapter 4 that although we may face trouble, persecution, and distress, we are not helpless or desperate because we have God's power within us. We should always believe in God for a solution to our problems, no matter how difficult they may seem.

Children of God are never desperate, there is always a solution. No matter how desperate our situation may seem, in God's hands your problem can turn into something wonderfully glorious if you believe God for a solution.

In Second Kings chapter 6 beginning with verse 24 we have the story that perhaps some of you have read when the King of Syria Ben-hadad invades Israel specifically the northern part of Israel and surrounds and besieges the city of Samaria that was in that time the capital of Israel and when this site is established, this long-standing siege of the city spreads famine throughout the city of Samaria to the point that there is simply nothing to eat and we have an interesting story where it seems that some of the inhabitants of Samaria turn to the terrible resource of cannibalism and we have the story of these two women who enter into a macabre agreement to eat each other's children, so much was the hunger that raged in the city.
