God moves in an environment of faith
Dr. Roberto MirandaMany people have faith, but that faith is like a calm, calm lake. God likes waters that jump and move. "Rivers of living water," says the Word, "will spring from within." God is moved by a dynamic, aggressive, expectant faith that dares to undertake things hoping that He will respond and support when we believe Him.
That is why we have to make our faith red hot, and exercise it at every opportunity until it becomes a burning flame. The apostle Paul counsels Timothy, "Fan the fire of the gift of God that is in you" (2 Tim 1: 6). Only an intense and passionate posture of faith can establish the necessary conditions for the power of God to be activated.
The power of God is manifested in an environment of faith, where a supernatural mentality operates. That is why it is important to generate in the people of God an expectation, an active posture, of faith. When God's people are instructed in the secrets and subtleties of faith, and learn to churn the waters of faith, then God can move as He wants.
It is important, through pastoral instruction and constant exercise, to give birth to individuals and congregations that compute and combine life in terms of faith, of supernaturality. Not a people of generic and weak faith, who mostly believe in human actions and initiatives, but a people that moves in, and depends on, the supernatural power of the Spirit. Where there is an atmosphere of faith, God can move freely and do great things.
