Alliances

SUMMARY: We often cry out to God for help in tough situations, but then we try to solve the problem ourselves rather than trusting in Him. We may make alliances with people that go against our values, which can lead us down the wrong path. We should consult God and His Word before entering into any alliances. The narrow path may be difficult, but it leads to salvation. Let's seek God's will and make an unshakable covenant with Him, as His plan for us is eternal.

Have you ever noticed how many times we cry out to God for help in a difficult or insoluble situation and after we surrender to his feet, we get up and begin to plan what we are going to do to solve it. Has it happened to you? It has happened to me and I find myself doing it, I am ashamed of my attitude, but the mistakes will continue, in many ways.

One of the techniques we use is that of pacts or alliances, many times with people and in the wrong direction. And in our foray we meet many people who want to "help" us and we fall.

Gregory Bishop
When they try to trick you
The author reflects on the importance of consulting God and staying connected to Jesus through spiritual disciplines such as prayer and planning. They encourage setting aside time for prayer, using an agenda to plan important things in life, and finding a separate place to pray. The speaker reminds the audience that walking in the spirit and being connected to the vine is a daily decision and not to neglect simple disciplines.
