RESUMEN: The author speaks about the emphasis on the "self" in society, particularly in the American Church, and how it has led to a loss of power and impact on culture. He emphasizes the importance of following Jesus as an example of humility and servanthood, and asks God to reveal areas where we may be aligning ourselves with worldly values. The author calls for a return to a childlike faith and simplicity, and for the Holy Spirit to move and transform us to be agents of change in the world.

The speaker prays for the Holy Spirit to reveal patterns and obstacles that may be hindering the church. They ask for boldness and a willingness to follow God's lead. They also ask for patience and the ability to speak of their faith clearly to those around them. The speaker recognizes the Power of God and declares their commitment to serving Jehovah.

The message that God gave me is the art of following. There is so much emphasis today on leadership, that emphasis sometimes tends to minimize in our minds and hearts the importance of following a leader.

I grew up in a generation that is called the "baby boomers" after World War II, those who were born between '46 and '64, how many here have heard the term "baby boomers"? They are basically the ones that were born between World War II and Vietnam. A writer sociologist analyzed that generation and gave it the name: the "me" generation. Another writer was also commenting on the ethics or mindset of narcissism in that generation.
