Christians - ready to rule the nations?

Dr. Roberto Miranda
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The sermon is part of a series on authority and obedience to God. The speaker emphasizes the importance of aligning oneself with the heart and mind of God, using the analogy of synchronizing a computer with an iPod. He argues that there is much content in the church and in human thinking that does not come from God and needs to be removed in order to properly align oneself with God's program. The speaker believes that God wants to reconcile with humanity and preserve his creatures, but human disobedience and self-destructive behavior prevent this. He calls on listeners to humble themselves and align with God in order to fulfill their immense potential.

The speaker discusses God's dilemma with humanity and the need for reconciliation. He believes that God wants to restore the church's authority and governance, but the church must first learn to submit to authority and align with God's principles. The speaker emphasizes the seriousness of the times and the need for the church to take the Christian life seriously. He believes that the church will have an important role to play in the coming dispensation, ruling over nations and systems, but it must be prepared to exercise authority in the way that God wants. The speaker also emphasizes the importance of reverence and understanding the holiness of where one walks as a child of God.

The speaker asks God to not let them lose the revelation they received and to help them not go back to business as usual. They ask for God's mercy and to be cleansed on the inside before being used by God. They want to be able to use God's authority in a way that glorifies Him and is in accordance with the principles of His Kingdom. They ask for God's holy fear and mind to be upon them. They want to see the glory of God manifested and for Jesus to receive all the glory on earth that He deserves. They want to be a sign in the world and remind humanity that their Father loves them and wants reconciliation with them. They ask for forgiveness for not being more useful and for allowing themselves liberties they have no right to. They ask God to rebuild and change His Church and to help them to be the Church that He needs them to be.

The word of God, God still has things to tell us. Let's go to the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 10, beginning with verse 1, but before going into that passage, let me see the brothers who visit us, those who have not been here before or those who were absent. These sermons are part of a series I'm preaching on the subject of authority, there are at least 4 or 5 out there that you remember.

The issue of authority. This is part of a series that we have started beginning with the first sermon that I spoke about obedience and then we went into the subject of authority because one thing kind of led to another. Why are these issues linked? And I said that I feel that the Lord has first spoken to my life.
