Isaiah 48:13 • Revelation 4:11
Imagine a chamber, where universes spin Dials of precision, where all life begins The Gravity set, to a whisper so grand Holds every star cluster, by Your knowing hand If altered by moments, or ever so slight No matter would gather, no sun would ignite.
Worthy are You, our God and our Lord For by Your will, all creation was poured From Your own hand, the heavens were spun The earth deeply founded, by You, only One Glory and honor, Your power we see Holding the cosmos, eternally.
And deep in the silence, a world we can't trace A universe forming, in time and in space Eighty-six billion, bright neurons alight More connections than stars, in the dark of the night The same hand that fashioned, the cosmic design Wired every thought in this spirit of mine.
Yet I confess, I forget this clear truth Trying to twist dials, from childhood to youth I micromanage, my worries unfold A story of striving, so often untold But outside my window, the sky stretches wide Your hand that holds galaxies, is right by my side So I’ll take my hands off, these tiny controls Rest in Your power, that comforts my soul.
Worthy are You, our God and our Lord For by Your will, all creation was poured From Your own hand, the heavens were spun The earth deeply founded, by You, only One Glory and honor, Your power we see Holding the cosmos, eternally.
Unchallengeable power, beyond all we know The Architect watches, as soft breezes blow A masterpiece breathing, from sky to the leaf My trust is in You, a sweet, sweet relief Your will, it created, Your will it sustains Forever and always, through sunshine and rains. You hold it all... You hold it all.
