Zechariah 13:6 • 1 Peter 2:24
If someone asks him, ‘What are these wounds on your chest?’ he will answer, ‘These are the wounds I received in the house of my friends.’ - Zechariah 13:6
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed.” - 1 Peter 2:24
The potter in his workshop is a symbol of God molding us. Just as the potter perseveres through pain to create a perfect piece, God does not give up on us even when we hurt ourselves and others. We are useless clay until touched by the Divine Artist, and it is His fidelity that knows no limits. Let us recognize that we are the work of His hands and carry His blood in us, and show it in our lives.
