God's Precious Treasure: You!

My beloved friends, what a grand and glorious paradox unfolds before our very eyes in the sacred Scriptures! We often strive, do we not? Building our little towers of strength, seeking recognition, fearing vulnerability as if it were a mortal foe. Yet, God's truth reveals His greatest power most brilliantly displayed in our deepest weakness.

Consider the ancient remnant in Persian Yehud—a mere handful, rebuilding without city walls, exposed to every hostile glance. To human estimation, they were nothing. Yet, hear Jehovah's booming declaration! He proclaims, "I will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her!" More tender still, He cries, "He that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye!" My dear ones, picture that! Your most sensitive part, guarded with divine jealousy. Any affront to us, in our feeblest state, is a direct, burning injury to the very pupil of His own infinite gaze!

Centuries rolled on, to proud Corinth. What sort of folk did Christ gather there? Not the philosophers, not the nobles, not the wise according to this world's fleeting fancy! Nay, but the "foolish," the "weak," the "base-born," the "despised," and those the world deemed "as nothing!" God purposefully chose them! Not in spite of their lowliness, but through it, to utterly confound the wise and bring to naught the things that are. He demolishes the altars of human pride with the very instruments of its disdain!

Oh, what solace this truth pours into our trembling hearts! Are you feeling small? Insignificant? Overlooked? Perhaps your defenses seem flimsy. Then rejoice! For it is precisely in this felt weakness that God's strength is most triumphantly revealed. Your vulnerability is not a barrier; it is the very canvas upon which He paints His magnificent glory! You are profoundly precious to Him, guarded with a care beyond imagining. Your worth is not minted in the world's noisy marketplace, but in the silent, eternal chambers of His electing love. He is overturning the world's systems, using *you* to demonstrate His omnipotent power.

Therefore, lift up your heads, ye saints of God! Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. For His eye is upon you, His fire surrounds you, and His glory shines through you. Amen.
