If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. (Job 22:23)
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Timothy 4:5)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

Your mission

The mission of God is to restore humanity's relationship with Him through His redemptive plan. We are called to join Him in His work and participate in His mission. Our Christian life should be centered on the mission of God, and everything we do in Christ should fit into His plan. Jesus' mission focused on the excluded and marginalized in society. The Great Commission is not just about doing missions, but about our lifestyle, spiritual growth, and expectations. We should not be discouraged, as Christ is our burning bush, and He is passionate about saving the lost. We are all part of His mission, and we should reflect the values of the Kingdom in our lives. Comments:

Efigenia Vidal : Amen, through the word of life. There are two precepts that stand out in today's reflection; one is the great commission that all believers have to serve the Lord, and secondly, to do so hand in hand with God, because without His guidance we would be like a compass without direction. How good God is, and ready to help those who believe in Him and seek Him with a heart willing to live in His love, offering help to their neighbors, just as Jesus did, seeking to make known the foundations of faith in God and obedient to His demands. Thank you, Faustino Zamora, for your contributions to the growth and strengthening of God's ministry to be fulfilled in this area. May the Lord bless you.
What a beautiful reflection, Efigenia Vidal! It's true that the mission God has entrusted to us is great, and we must carry it out hand in hand with Him, as you rightly mention. In 2 Timothy 4:5, we are urged to "do the work of an evangelist, fulfill our ministry," reminding us that we must be faithful in bringing the message of salvation to others. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us that God's mission is fundamental in our lives and that we must be willing to join Him in any area He calls us to serve. May God continue to bless you in your journey of faith!
Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏
What a beautiful amen, Oscar Rodríguez! It's wonderful to see how together we can affirm our faith and our willingness to follow the mission God has entrusted to us. Let us remember the words of Job 22:23, which urge us to return to the Almighty to be restored. Let us move forward with faith and commitment on the path God has laid out for each of us. May the peace of the Lord be with you always!
karina: The biblical quote every time a verse from Job arrives, work comes to me 22:23
Karina, it's interesting how certain Bible verses resonate in a special way in our hearts and lives. Job 22:23 reminds us of the importance of returning to the Almighty for restoration. In times of difficulty or challenge, remembering this verse can be a comforting reminder that in God we find restoration and strength. May God's Word continue to illuminate your path and strengthen your faith. God bless you!
Carlos A. Borja Flores: What the servant of God Faustino de Jesús Zamora expresses is very clear when he emphasizes that "an evangelist is not someone who preaches the gospel, but someone who witnesses and clearly reflects in his life all the values of the Kingdom." When Jesus was returning to the bosom of the Father, He told the Eleven that, with the power of the Holy Spirit, they were to be witnesses of the transformation wrought by the Word of God. First John 1:1-4 corroborates this. You are at the center of His mission!
Carlos A. Borja Flores, thank you for sharing your enriching reflection. It's very apt to highlight the importance of being living witnesses of God's Word in our lives, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional. Remembering that we are at the center of God's mission impels us to live according to the values of the Kingdom and to reflect the light of Christ in everything we do. The quote you mention from 1 John 1:1-4 is a reminder of the importance of being witnesses of the transformation that God's Word works in us. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide your steps in this important mission! May God bless you abundantly!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : Beautiful reflection today; very apt. I see many people from other sects, always preaching, "But ask them for a favor, they refuse." So where is what they preach? Where is what the Lord Jesus commanded us to do? To help the helpless and those in need. However, these people do not demonstrate God's love. God bless them always.
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez, your comment is very thoughtful and invites us to consider the coherence between what we preach and what we live. It is true that the true expression of God's love is manifested not only in words, but also in concrete actions to help the needy and helpless, as Jesus taught us. It is essential that as believers we reflect God's love at all times, being a living testimony of His love and compassion toward others. May this reminder prompt us to act with generosity and compassion, demonstrating in deeds the love we proclaim with our words. May God continue to guide you on His path of love and service! May God bless you abundantly!
Francisco Diaz S.: Beautiful message from Pastor Faustino de J. Z. V. Jesus Christ must be our guide and we as sheep of his flock must not separate ourselves from his fold, whoever departs runs the risk of getting lost or being devoured by the vermin of this world. - We are followers of Christ
Francisco Díaz S., thank you for sharing your inspiring reflection. It is true that Jesus Christ must be our constant guide on this journey of faith, and as sheep of His flock, it is essential to remain united to Him and not stray from His fold. By straying from Him, we run the risk of getting lost or falling prey to the temptations and dangers of this world. Remembering that we are followers of Christ encourages us to remain steadfast in our faith and to follow His teachings faithfully. May the presence and care of Jesus Christ guide and strengthen us at all times. May God bless you and keep you in His loving care!
Luis Alfredo Ramirez Cano: Evangelize all the time and if necessary, also speak. It is NOT with speeches or reciting verses, it is with our actions, with our example, Matthew 7:15-16 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will know them. By their fruits you will know them. We must be doers of the Word, not hearers only. 1 Timothy This is a trustworthy saying: If a man desires the office of bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober, respectable, given to behavior, giving hospitality, apt to teach. 3 Not given to wine, (drunken, drunkard), not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, quiet, not covetous, 4 one who manages his own house well, keeping his children in submission with all integrity 5 (for if anyone does not know how to manage his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?) 6 not a novice, or else being conceited and falling into the condemnation of the devil. 7 He must also have a good report from outsiders, so that he will not fall into reproach and into the snare of the devil. The works we do must reflect what we are in Christ Jesus.
Luis Alfredo Ramirez Cano, thank you for your insightful and wise comment. It is essential to remember that evangelization goes beyond the words and verses we share; true evangelization is manifested in our daily actions and in the example we set for others, as you mention when quoting Matthew 7:15-16. Our actions must reflect the Word of God, being doers of His will and not just hearers. Furthermore, your words remind us of the importance of living according to biblical principles, as described in 1 Timothy, so that our witness is authentic and honorable. It is essential that those who occupy leadership roles in the church be examples of integrity and faithfulness to God in all areas of their lives. May our conduct and our works be a faithful reflection of our identity in Christ Jesus. May God grant us the grace to live according to His Word and to be true witnesses of His love and truth! May God bless you and strengthen you in your journey of faith!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: God is my Shepherd, I shall not want, amen.
Amen, Sabino Marroquin Lopez. What a beautiful affirmation of faith to declare that God is our Shepherd and that we will lack nothing. This trust in God's provision and care is comforting and reminds us of His constant faithfulness to those who trust in Him. May this certainty in the Lord continue to strengthen your journey of faith, and may His love and provision accompany you at all times. May God continue to be your Shepherd and guide in every step you take! May God bless you abundantly!
Mayerling Vivas : Excellent word today It filled me a lot
Mayerling Vivas, what a joy to know that today's Word has filled you so much. It's wonderful when the Word of God touches us deeply and fills our hearts. May this fullness you experience accompany you in your daily life, strengthening and guiding you in your journey of faith. May the Word of God continue to be a source of inspiration and comfort in your life. May God bless you richly and fill you with His love and wisdom!
Ruth Vives.: We must be attentive to God's call in preaching the gospel. Let us share with our brothers and sisters the good news of the kingdom. Let us glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God bless you. Amen.
Ruth Vives, your words are a valuable reminder of the importance of being attentive to God's call to preach the gospel and share the good news of the kingdom with our brothers and sisters. It is a privilege to glorify the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in all we do. May we continue to be instruments of God's grace and love to bring His light to those around us. May God's blessing continue to guide your steps and may His love be reflected in your actions. May God bless you abundantly! Amen!
Magdalena Fernandez : Beautiful reflection, I love it.
