I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5)
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

My God is hope

As humans, we struggle with patience and waiting for God's timing. We often try to intervene in His plans, but it is important to learn to wait on Him. We can find hope in our suffering and affliction by turning to the Lord and putting our hope in His word. Isaiah reminds us that those who put their hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Our true hope is found in Christ, who is the hope of glory. Let us remove the worldly things we put our hope in and give Him the glory He deserves. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏.
Hello, Oscar! Thank you for your amen 🙏. In Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas' devotional, the importance of having hope in the Lord in the midst of waiting is mentioned. As it says in Psalm 130:5, "I hope in the LORD; my soul waits for Him, and in His word I put my hope." It is beautiful to trust in God at all times. What inspires you the most from these words?
Efigenia Vidal : Thank you Lord because you make me remember through your word, every day that my hope is placed in Jesus Christ, there is no one else who can help me, more than what you put in the feelings of the person that you use as an instrument for your purposes, and/or to respond to what is raised in prayer before your presence. God bless you.
What a beautiful comment, Efigenia. It is wonderful to remember that our hope is placed in Jesus Christ, and as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions, we find our hope in His word. As expressed in Psalm 130:5, "I hope in the LORD; my soul waits for Him, and in His word I put my hope." It is comforting to know that in the midst of our prayers, God listens to us and sustains us. May God bless you abundantly! What motivates you most from this reflection?
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : In you, only in you, are my hopes, my LORD.
Hello, Enrique! Your comment reflects a deep trust in the Lord, just as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional. He reminds us of the importance of putting our hope in God at all times. As mentioned in Psalm 130:5, "I hope in the LORD; my soul waits for Him, and in His word I put my hope." It is comforting to know that we can place all our hopes in Him. What inspires you most about this truth in your daily life? Blessings!
Carlos A. Borja Flores: As Faustino de Jesús rightly says, "By nature we are impatient; we do not know how to wait, but sometimes our impatience leads us to want to intervene in His plans. GOD BLESSES US WHEN WE TRUST IN HIM." Walking in Christianity is an experience that we must live according to the Word.
Hello, Carlos! Your reflection on impatience and the importance of trusting in God at all times resonates with Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas' message in his devotional. He highlights the need to learn to wait on the Lord, as mentioned in Psalm 130:5, "I wait for the LORD; my soul waits for Him, and in His word I put my hope." It is true that following Christ invites us to live according to His Word and trust in His plans for us. How have you experienced God's blessing by trusting in Him in the midst of waiting? May God continue to guide you in your Christian walk!
Claudia Olvera : How important it is to trust in God at all times as this Psalm 130 says, I am grateful to God for giving us words through you, blessings
Hello, Claudia! Your gratitude and recognition for the importance of trusting in God at all times is very inspiring. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, Psalm 130:5 highlights the need to wait on the Lord and place our trust in His word. It is beautiful to see how the Word of God reaches us through different means to remind us of His faithfulness. May God continue to guide your steps and fill your life with blessings. May His Word continue to be a source of strength and comfort for you!
Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano: By their fruits you will know them. This applies to each one of us. The world, all those, brothers of faith, coworkers, family members, etc., will be positively or negatively impacted in our task of making our Lord known with what we speak, because "out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Joshua 1:8-9 does not emphasize: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. 9 See, I command you to be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, therefore, we must let Him live and govern our hearts, we must not impede His action in us. This fruit is seen by our fellow men in our actions: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. But those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Our only hope is Christ Jesus, our only way. He is the truth, the way, and the life.
What beautiful reflections, Luis Alfredo. Your comment highlights the importance of reflecting the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives, including patience, as you mention in Galatians 5:22-23. In addition, you allude to the need to let God govern our hearts, so that His love and truth are manifested through us, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional. It is true that our true hope is found in Christ Jesus. May God continue to strengthen your faith and guide your steps on His path of love and truth! Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: God's timing is not like the timing of men. God has his plans laid out. Let us trust in the Lord with great faith and hope because God's timing is perfect.
What a beautiful message, Francisco. Your comment reflects a deep trust in God's perfect timing, as mentioned in the scriptures and Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas in his devotional. As you mention, trusting in the Lord with faith and hope allows us to rest in His sovereignty and perfect plans. Let us remember that, as mentioned in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who put their hope in the Lord will renew their strength." May the peace and strength that come from trusting in God be a constant guide in your life. May God continue to bless you with His love and wisdom!

Sabino Marroquin Lopez: My faith, my trust and hope is in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, I have been developing the project for the use of rainwater and generating thousands of jobs in the fields for needy families for 23 years, so that their children and elderly parents do not suffer so much need, so that children do not turn to crime and end up in jail, on my knees I pray, I ask THE LORD to give me his hand so that I do well in what I am doing, thank you MY GOD, into your Holy hands I commit my work, amen.
