He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work. (1 Kings 7:14)
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; (Romans 12:6)

Pay attention to humble things

Every servant of God has a different level of potential in the things of the Spirit. They should strive to develop their competence and basic level of ability within their specific area of ministry. This includes mastering basic skills such as preaching, administration, evangelism, caring for souls, leadership training, worship leading, and prayer. It's important to avoid a super spiritual, mystical ministry that neglects the practical and concrete aspects of ministerial work. The ability to tolerate monotony and pay attention to the humble but fundamental tools of ministry is what separates ministerial excellence from mediocrity. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Thank you very much for this word my LORD
What a beautiful comment, Enrique! It is wonderful to see how Dr. Roberto Miranda's reflection on the importance of developing our skills in ministry resonates in your heart. As he mentions in his devotional, each of us has received specific gifts and abilities to serve God. Like the son of the widow of Naphtali, who was filled with wisdom and skill in working in bronze, we too must strive to develop and use our gifts to glorify God. How wonderful it is to be able to serve Him with excellence, paying attention to even the most humble details of ministry! Blessings on your walk with the Lord!
