And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. (Zechariah 13:9)
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (1 Peter 1:7)
Charles Spurgeon

Fireproof

Grace transforms us into precious metal but it requires us to go through fire and furnace which is a necessary process. We should not choose to be considered unworthy and rest like stones, but rather welcome the refining process. The Lord values us as silver and removes our dross. We should pray to suppress our alloy rather than be removed from the crucible. We should trust in the Lord's process of purification. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I gladly accept your proposal to be refined like gold, my LORD. Thank you because you are ALWAYS concerned about me. Receive my adoration again today, my GOD.
What a beautiful expression of surrender and trust in our Lord. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, the process of being refined like gold or silver can be difficult, but it is part of the work of grace in our lives. It is comforting to remember that God tests us like gold in the fire, not to destroy us, but to purify us and make us shine even more for His glory. In Zechariah 13:9 we read about how God refines His people like silver is refined, and in 1 Peter 1:7 it is mentioned that the testing of our faith is more precious than gold. It is beautiful to see how your heart responds with gratitude and worship in the midst of trial, acknowledging God's sovereignty and care at all times. May your worship continue to be a fragrant offering to Him, as you trust in His refining process in your life. God bless you greatly on this journey of faith and purification!

In the last test the Lord guided me through his Holy Spirit and it hurt a lot, but I also received deliverance in many areas that were tied and I remain faithful. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me continue being faithful in this race until the day He has me on this earth.

Francisco Diaz S.: Lord: I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and I shall be cleansed. - Forgive me, Lord, and take me into your bosom.
