Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them. (Nehemiah 4:9)
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8)

The value of not neglecting the spiritual life

In a world of spiritual ruin, we need to rely on prayer and dependence on God to do His work. The book of Nehemiah teaches us to renounce our possessions and passions to submit to God's will. We have an enemy who opposes God's plans, and we must rebuild the walls that have been torn down by neglecting our spiritual life. We need to humble ourselves before God and watch day and night so that the enemy does not gain ground. Let us not neglect our relationship with God in a world of moral and spiritual ruin. Francisco Diaz S.: I emphasize the summary of the introduction of today's message by Pastor Faustino: "In a world in moral and spiritual ruin, we cannot neglect our relationship with God." - And it is that the pride of man faces divine laws just as Lucifer challenged the power and divinity of God. - We have to be spiritual and not worldly to separate ourselves from perversion and embrace the glory of God.
