And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
(Exodus 33:11)But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
(Mark 5:33) We have a God who cares about us
This passage from the Bible tells the story of a woman who was healed by touching the clothes of Jesus. What is interesting is that after she is healed, Jesus asks who touched Him, and the woman confesses to Him what she had done. This dialogue between Jesus and the woman is important because it completes her healing, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. It shows the contrast between the Old Testament God, who was seen as distant and legalistic, and the New Testament God, who is merciful, compassionate, and willing to deal with us in our crises. It reminds us that God wants us to approach Him confidently, not with fear and trembling, and to be honest and detailed in our prayers. He wants to minister to us at deep levels and touch us in all areas of our lives.
