We have a God who cares about us

SUMMARY:
This passage from the Bible tells the story of a woman who was healed by touching the clothes of Jesus. What is interesting is that after she is healed, Jesus asks who touched Him, and the woman confesses to Him what she had done. This dialogue between Jesus and the woman is important because it completes her healing, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. It shows the contrast between the Old Testament God, who was seen as distant and legalistic, and the New Testament God, who is merciful, compassionate, and willing to deal with us in our crises. It reminds us that God wants us to approach Him confidently, not with fear and trembling, and to be honest and detailed in our prayers. He wants to minister to us at deep levels and touch us in all areas of our lives. There is one last element in this passage that intrigues me and I think it is very instructive. It says that when the Lord asks who has touched my clothes? and the Lord is looking around Him to see who had done this, in verse 33 it says that: "Then the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done in her, came and fell down before Him and told her all the truth. And the Lord said to her: daughter, your faith has saved you, go in peace and be healed from your scourge. "
That is interesting. That's like a postlude, it's like a final note to this wonderful incident, right? Where the story could have stayed there simply with the healing of the woman and the Lord because he heals her and that's all, and continues on his way to Jairo's house. But the Lord is intrigued and interested in what has happened at this moment, and then he asks who has touched me?
