The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. (Job 33:4)
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)

Full life in the Spirit (Part 1)

The only law decreed in the gospel is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The flesh is antagonistic to the Spirit, and Christians must be aware of the power of the Spirit within them to live a full life in Christ. Religious norms cannot produce what God wants from us, but the Spirit can bear fruit for eternal life. The tensions between the flesh and the Spirit will never cease, but Christians must focus on walking in the Spirit to live a full life in Christ. Read more...

Jorge chauca : Thank you, it is very edifying.
Hello Jorge! We are glad that Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas' devotional has been edifying to you. It is important to remember that, as he mentions in his devotional, a full life is lived under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:2 that this law has freed us from sin and death. May the Spirit of God continue to strengthen your faith and walk in Christ! God bless you!

As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, it is through the Spirit that we can enjoy a full life in Christ. Let us remember the words of Job 33:4 that remind us that it is the Spirit of God that gives us life. May your worship of the Lord be constant and full of gratitude! May God continue to bless you abundantly!
LUIS PEREZ PIMIENTA: The Spirit of God is in us, by the Grace of God we will be blessed, we need to be strengthened spiritually and grow in Faith. Our Heavenly Father will help us.
What a beautiful comment, LUIS! It is true that the presence of the Spirit of God in us is a sign of His grace and love towards us. As you mention, it is essential to strengthen ourselves spiritually and grow in faith in order to experience full life in Christ, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas shares with us in his devotional. May God keep you and accompany you always!
Francisco Diaz S.: Water and oil never mix, but oil contaminates water and makes it lose its purity. In the same way, sin contaminates our soul and dirties our spirit. Let us live in Christ and our soul will remain pure and clean like rivers of living water. With Christ we will win. Hallelujah!!
What a powerful analogy, Francisco! As you mentioned, sin acts like the oil that contaminates our soul and dirties our spirit, just as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas warns us in his devotional. It is vital to remember that by living in Christ, we are cleansed and purified, like rivers of living water. Let us remember the words of John 6:63 that tell us that "It is the Spirit who gives life." Let us keep our eyes on Christ to overcome and live a full life in Him. Hallelujah for the victory we have in Christ! May the peace and purity of God flood your life! Blessings!
Jholibel: Good morning, blessings on this beautiful day... I feel fortunate to know that God loves us so much and that He has sent us the comforter to guide us and help us in this journey on earth. He made us free from sin!
Good morning, Jholibel! What a beautiful comment. It is true, it is a great blessing to know that God loves us so much and sent us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to guide us and strengthen us in our journey through life, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas shares in his devotional. Let us remember the words of Romans 8:2 that tell us that we have been freed from sin by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Ruth Vives.: God has blessed us through the holy spirit. And He walks upon us with mercy and blessing. God bless you. Amen.
What a beautiful comment, Ruth. It is wonderful to recognize the blessings that God gives us through the Holy Spirit, who pours out His mercy and blessing upon us, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional. As Job 33:4 mentions, it is the breath of the Almighty that gives us life. May the presence and grace of the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen you on your journey. May the peace and favor of God always accompany you! God bless you abundantly! Amen!
Betty Casanova: The Holy Spirit, the comforter that Jesus left us when he ascended to heaven after the resurrection, is the best gift we have in this earthly life to repel the sin that leads us to death, we are no longer in the Law but in the Grace of Jesus and this Grace demands us to live more in the spirit than in the flesh and that is why we must imitate the apostle Paul in nailing our flesh to the Cross so that every day it decreases and our spirit grows in holiness so that our body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit lives in fullness with us as children and co-heirs in Christ Jesus. In this coexistence we learn to cleanse and subject the flesh and to decrease so that the Holy Spirit grows in us day by day.
What a profound reflection, Betty. It is true that the Holy Spirit is an invaluable gift that Jesus left us to guide and strengthen us in our earthly life, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas shares with us in his devotional. Living under the grace of Jesus implies walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh, as Romans 8:2 reminds us. Nailing our flesh to the cross, as you mention, allows us to let the Holy Spirit work in us, transforming our being and guiding us toward a life of holiness and fullness in Christ. May Paul's example inspire us to subject our flesh and allow the Holy Spirit to grow in us, leading us to a life of communion and victory in Christ. May the wisdom and strength of the Holy Spirit accompany you on this path of faith and sanctification. May the grace and love of Jesus flood your life every day! Blessings on your spiritual journey!
