Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. (Psalm 31:2)
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
Charles Spurgeon

Wicked men will not bring our downfall

Despite the presence of wicked and evil people among us, we should not worry or argue with them. Instead, we should turn to the Lord who is faithful and will confirm and guard us. We can find joy in His faithful heart, mind, and love. We should rest in His protection and provision and pray for strength and guidance. Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I know that my GOD protects me at every moment from the harm they may do to me. I love you Sr.
What a beautiful expression of trust and love towards God, Enrique! Your comment reflects a deep faith in divine protection despite the evils that may threaten you. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, the Lord is faithful and will strengthen and protect us from the evil one. It is comforting to know that, despite the presence of perverse and evil men in this world, we can take refuge in the faithfulness of our God. May your love for the Lord continue to strengthen you every day. God bless you brother!
Iris: God is good and merciful, every day he shows us his faithfulness and love, but as born again we must fully trust in his protection and care. Placing our lives as soon as we open our eyes in his hands. But the trust we have in him is so little, That when we are going through strong trials, he lets us know that we are not alone, that he fights for us, But we doubt and instead of going to his word, prayer, we look for people who are often well-established in the word and that is when those dilutions that they give us magnify the problem and open portals for the enemy to destroy us. Yes, in Psalm 91,23,27, 35, he confirms to us that he is our protector, provider, savior and that we should not fear or doubt his promise. We are the ones who prolong the trials and strengthen the attacks of satan, by disobeying and distrusting the God of the impossible and the one who shed his blood and died for us and rose again to give us eternal life and forgiveness of our sins, That he is always fighting for us against powers, principalities, spiritual hosts of evil, rulers of darkness, and even protecting us from ourselves, who through our bad actions and lack of forgiveness we open portals for all kinds of spirits. For Satan and our enemies to leave us alone, we must begin to accept, renounce everything that has come into our lives from our ancestors, renounce, forgive, trust and obey everything that God tells you, he uses the means so that you Know what you should and should not do. These are difficult times when Satan does not attack the people of the world, but rather those of us who seek God's protection and direction every day. That is why we must be prepared by putting on the protective armor as his word says.
What a deep reflection, Iris! Your message invites us to fully trust in God's protection and care, despite the trials and attacks we may face. It is true that sometimes we doubt and look for answers in the wrong places instead of holding on to the Word and prayer. As you mention, in Psalm 91 and throughout the Bible, God confirms us as our protector and provider, reminding us that we should not fear or doubt His promise. It is a powerful reminder that by accepting, renouncing, forgiving, trusting and obeying God, we open the door for His protection and direction in our lives. It is crucial to be prepared and clothed in the spiritual armor that the Word of God gives us to resist the attacks of the enemy. May your faith and your constant search for divine protection and direction be an example to many in these difficult times. May God strengthen and guide you at all times, Iris!
