But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:11)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (1 Peter 5:6)

Ministries and ministers

The church needs more humble ministers who are willing to serve and obey God's will. Humility is not just a Christian trait and it is inconceivable for a Christian to be arrogant and proud. Some people practice humility only for recognition and admiration, but true humility requires renunciation, self-denial, and sacrifice for others. Altruism is essential for Christians and their behavior and attitudes towards others define their values and personal testimony. The example of Christ in his humility and exaltation is a pillar of Christian life for faithful stewards who wish to glorify God through their ministry. Read more...

Carlos A. Borja Flores: The great problem of certain Christian Churches is that they have pastors who lack humility. The Christian Ministry has been confused with a position, when it represents a function of service to the Church. Let us pray for the Pastors, so that we understand why we were called.
Hello Carlos A. Borja Flores! Your words reflect an important observation about humility and service in Christian ministry, something that Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas also highlights in his devotional. It is essential to remember that ministry should not be seen as a position of authority, but as a call to humble and loving service to the church. Let us pray for our pastors and leaders, that they follow the example of Christ in their ministry and that we all may understand the true reason for our calling in the service of God. May the wisdom and love of God guide all church leaders in their work! 🙏🏻
