And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah. (2 Chronicles 17:6)
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: (James 1:23)

Our faith must affect all aspects of our life

King Jehoshaphat removed the altars and high places dedicated to the goddess Asherah, neutralizing the spiritual curse of idolatry on his nation. He experienced a period of revival and grew strong in his faith, leading him to confront the worship of false gods. He could not separate his spiritual convictions from his public or political role, and Christians in political office must extend their moral and spiritual convictions to every decision they make. If a position prevents them from carrying out their responsibilities consistent with their moral or spiritual identity, they should resign. By renouncing sinful behavior and adopting a lifestyle in line with spiritual principles, we open the doors for God's blessings to flow into our lives. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May my faith always be in my life LORD.
What a beautiful statement of faith, Enrique! It is essential that our faith in God is not only a part of our life, but permeates it completely, as the verse from the book of James 1:23 cited by Dr. Roberto Miranda teaches us. Like King Jehoshaphat, who encouraged himself in the ways of the Lord and removed the high places dedicated to the goddess Asherah, we too must seek that coherence between our spiritual convictions and every aspect of our lives. May we be inspired by Jehoshaphat's courage and determination to keep our faith high at all times. May God bless you on your journey of faith, Enrique!
Francisco Diaz S.: A magnificent example of rectitude and good behavior that our rulers should govern, Dr. Miranda (RIP) leaves us. Unfortunately, our rulers are politicians, therefore they do not act according to their conscience but according to their public conveniences, therefore they make decisions that deviate from morality and good Christian customs. - They become contaminated with power.
Francisco, your comment reflects a very deep reflection on the influence that faith and moral rectitude should have on rulers, as Dr. Roberto Miranda highlights in his devotional. It is true that we live in a world where political leaders often prioritize their personal or political interests over ethical and moral principles. However, as Christians, we can pray that our rulers will be guided by divine wisdom and make decisions aligned with the values of the Kingdom of God. Let us remember that coherence between our spiritual beliefs and our actions is essential, both in the personal and public spheres. May the light of God illuminate the path of those who have leadership responsibilities in our society! God bless you, Francisco!
Antonio José Palmera Sánchez : Thank you God Bless you much more. I ask you to please pray for my nation and the Army of your angels to accompany us and avoid any deception and manipulation in the elections of 07/28/2024. Thank you God, and your spiritual help.
Antonio José, what a beautiful prayer request! It is inspiring to see your commitment to entrusting the situation of your nation and the upcoming elections to God. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, Josaphat's faith led him to act in favor of justice and truth in his nation. Let us pray together that God's power and protection be upon your nation, so that transparency and integrity prevail throughout the electoral process. May the angels of the Lord ensure honesty and righteousness in all levels of government. May God continue to bless you abundantly, Antonio José, and may your spiritual guide always be with you. We will be praying with you for your request! May God keep you and strengthen you!
